    Hi.
First question is about stock exhaust on 5.7 TRD O/R.
It’s louder (a good thing) than any other stock V8 truck I’ve owned. Is this by design or am I hearing things.
Second is about cabin fresh air.
With the AC off, regular outside air flowing through the vents seems cool-not the typical warm air that you would expect.
Could my AC still be on even though green on light is off? How would one tell?
I like this fact cause it’s the coolest fresh air I’ve ever had in any vehicle.
    Thanks.

I have a 2017 as well and my exhaust isn’t that loud, it has a nice grumble but that’s about it.

As far as for the air, if you want it to completely turn off without letting any outside air in you have to press the recirculating air button. Not sure why it’s cool though lol

It's not dual exhaust loud, but like you said a pretty nice little rumble especially when cruising down the highway!
What I'm saying is, with the AC off, the fresh air stays cool long after I've shut the AC off.
Is this normal with a Toyota, cause any other vehicle I've ever driven the fresh air is not so cool.
I guess I could listen to the compressor to see if it's still on when I shut it off.

    Q1:
"Nice little rumble" is good !

    Q2:
as far as why with "the ac off the fresh air stays cool ..."
Most likely you have the control on defrost.
even with ac off, anytime you are on defrost, the air conditioning (compressor) is used to remove moisture from the air and defrost The windshield. The ac light will remain off!

Move the control knob to feet or face or something other than defrost.
