Toyo Open Country MTs, Yokohama Geolander G003 Mts, or Cooper STT Pro. Which is better? Longevity, Road Noise, Grip?

No first hand but I hear Toyos perform well but don't last long. A lot of guys like the Coopers, hopefully they'll chime in.

I'm eyeballing the Yokos, my Geolandar ATS lasted well over 70k miles so I put a set on my wife's Element. The new MTs look really promising but seem too new for any long term reviews, I looked around for reviews and couldn't find any that weren't promotional.

I went through a set of Coopers. Great tires. I'm now running Yokos and really liking 'em, amazingly quiet and they seem to hold up to offroading at least as well as the Coopers. I had some Toyos on my last truck, purchased used. I think the tires might've been old, they seemed hard, and I didn't like 'em. Toyo makes Nitto tires and I've really liked all the different Nitto's that I've had.

I really like the looks of the Yokohama’s and the toyos and I have never read anything bad on them. I had a set of cooper at3s on my old truck and they didn’t last 30k so a little weary on them.

You might want to check out the new Cooper AT3s. Three different versions. I had Nitto T Grap M/Ts. My Cooper STTs way better. IMHO.

Have Toyo’s on the truck now and yes they do wear a lot faster imho and are pretty noisy for being A/T’s

I have a set of STTs and running with Cooper ST Maxxes right now. My STTs go back on before hunting season. STT mileage? Don't give a rats ass just like mpg's. My Nitto's chunked off rubber where I go. My STT's don't.

I've been getting tires from Discount Tires Online, free shipping and cheaper than anything else in my area.

I would probably go towards the Yokos or Coopers. Toyo is usually more than I want to spend, and I'm typically looking to get a good deal on tires, when narrowed down to what I want. For years, I ran the Mastercraft AXT's (Cooper house brand of AT3's) and was very pleased with them. They were priced about like the Falkens are and I felt it was a great tire for the money, rated for 50k miles and I still had 7/32 on them with 45k when I replaced.

Back to your question though, I would probably choose the Coopers out of those three. Toyo is expensive and the Yokos are still pretty new. I've had good results running previous Mastercrafts and Coopers in the past and I really like those STT Pro's.

See thats the thing. I can get the toyos for $1k for everything. Not sure how much I can get the coopers for yet at my local shop.
