    I have searched and cannot find the details for the 10+ install of this. I know how to do the 08-10 ones as they are a bit simpler. (did this in a 2008 highlander).

    For some reason I like the look of the OEM navigation unit and the quality of the oem microphone. Yes I know the Nav portion SUCKS. I have had two others with the OEM nav (09 tundra and 08 Sequoia).

    My canadian Platinum did not come with Nav.I already have a replacement unit from a 2011 to install into my 2013. I currently have a JBL stereo and a E7026 navigation unit to install.

    From the non Nav to Nav unit a majority of the wiring is identical, but I have to switch a few wires for the microphone, steering controls, speed signal and get new connections for the parking brake and reverse signal/camera feed.

    I believe that I need two new connectors K7 (24 pin) and K6 (5) pin. I have part numbers for those. I do not believe I need K8 (12 pin) – Sat radio.

    K6 New

    K7 new

    J107 or K8 I am not sure. If K8 then it is for sat radio in NAV unit. If K107 then USB/AUX signal.

    K18 = K4

    K21=K3

    K24 =K25

    K26? New?

    K22 in old unit carries USB signals/Aux

    I believe I need the following:

    K7-pin 17 gets Telephone Microphone Assembly Power from K25-3

    K7-19 gets Mirophone + From K25-2

    K7-20 gets Microphone - From K25-5

    K7-22 gets Camera video

    K7-24 gets camera power

    Speed signal moves to K6-3 from K3-3

    Connect parking brake to K6-1 ( or ground?)

    Connect reverse to K6-5

    Any help is appreciated. Images of the connectors below. Thanks TundraTalk!

    I have wiring clips to do the swap but the Voice, on hook and off hook buttons on the steering are not working. Mode, Vol -/+ and Track -/+ work fine. Not sure if it is the voltage not being exact or some other issues. Anyone able to assist?

    I'm sorry I can't help you, but I have the same situation going on. I have 3 connections that didn't have anywhere to connect when I upgraded my HU. I attached pics. Do you know what these connectors do and where I can find adapters for them that would fit a pioneer AVH-W4400NEX? Sorry to jump in your thread without an answer but if someone has help they maybe could help us both. 2011 Tundra.

    Not sure of 2 of them but the blue one looks like the XM antenna connector. Take a look at this post.

    Blue is XM Radio antenna Confirmed

    Top in your photo is the K22 connector - Appears to have signal info for USB connector and AVC-LAN comminication signal
    lower is the K25 connector - This has Microphone connections / signal

    For a number of years I’ve been trying to do this as well. I have a jbl non nav ‘13 and trying to install a 10-13 jbl nav in it.

    What are the two part numbers for the plugs you needed? I think the K7 24 pin connector is 90980-12404, however I can’t find the K6 5 pin anywhere.

    Other instructions I’ve read said I’ve needed a steering wheel aux harness with a part number of c0069-33010-w2, but that may be for 07-09 models?

    Thanks!

    See attached spreadsheet I used. I still have not switched the back up camera from the mirror to the headunit yet.

    I had the following part numbers.

    E4 white 24 pin: 90980-12404
    E6 Blue 6 pin: 90980-12209

    E4 90980-12404 5.08 E4 Pins 82998-24290
    E5:90980-11909 plug e5 pins: 82998-12690
    E6 90980-12209 plug

    Brackets IF NEEDED
    Left 862110C040
    Right 862120C040

    Antenna 8686034020

    Thanks for the info. Helps a lot! There is a lot in that install manual and it mentions a harness? If I have jbl already, would I need all that? Is the only thing you had to do was get the two connectors, antenna, and then move the wires to the new connectors as required?

    Honestly I don't recall exactly based on how long ago it was. My order I found showed:
    1 of 90980-12404
    1 of 90980-11909
    1 of 90980-12209

    I got a used antenna from another toyota car with same plug / year range.

    That harness mentioned is not available anymore. has not been for a long time.

    My unit came with the brackets. I must have had spare pins or wire pigtails already??
