    I need to bent my friends. I really enjoy baseball and love watching the LLWS as it was my dream as a child and baseball was my life. Anyways. Watching a game.today and strike calls are ridicoulus..No joke ball in the batters box and its being called strikes. How the hell are kids suppost to play like this? I 100% know that being an umpire aint easy but come on. This is out of hand. I really hope the LLWS adresses the problem and yes i know they are volunteers but if they are signing up they need to do their job right

    our little town is at regionals now. Berlin. So cool to watch them on ESPN! coverage has been great. very good camera work and commentators are better than I've heard in the past. my son has played with several of the kids on the team and regularly caught their closer for several years.

    They called that a strike!? Oh man...did coaches come out for any of these calls. That's just terrible. Shouldn't be able to volunteer for LLWS...they should be picked from around the country who did well based off of reviews.

    btw fisher the new for this year USAbats are dead as can be. bbcor but in drop 10. Home runs mean something again and teams are having to actually play defense to win games. one of the Berlin kids has 4 in regionals so far and I'll bet more to come!

    Yes that was a STRIKE pretty sad. No argument from coaches at all but the look.of frustration on their faces is hard to miss. The kids look is even worse as they know its not a strike

    Kind of glad Jansen got the call. Hopefully that giving up HR bullshit is over. Dodger pitching is pretty good now and the team has depth and great on base percentages. Something the Rockies severely lacked. Lots of power up front but lacking in small ball.

    The Dodgers are DEEEP! That should bode well going into the playoffs. 50-0 when leading by 4 runs, only team with a winning record over all teams over .500! Hopefully we make it back to the fall classic. :fingerscrossed:

    I went to my first Dodger game in 1963. Dodger Stadium opened in April 62 season. Watched Koufax and Drysdale pitch before I was 10. Time to win the Series again!

    Time for another Kirk Gibson moment in the playoffs. A few couldn't hurt.....Kershaw isn't quite back up to snuff yet from back surgery . Even though he has lost about 5 mph he has the experience. Buehler is a great draft. Scored on that. Can't wait till Thursday...

    I remember that Gibson moment! My dad and I went nuts! Still considered the greatest moment in LA sports history.
    Edit: Still kinda pissed at Roberts for not using Kershaw in game 7 last year. Especially after the Darvish disaster in game 4. What might've been... :rolleyes:
