    Hello all new here.
Trying to find out if there is a difference in bed size between the two. The reason I'm asking is because I'm getting a steal of a deal on a tonneau cover. Extang sf 2.0. The problem is that I have a 2017 cm and the cover is for a 2013 cm.
I was wondering if anyone had the same issue or question.
    Thanks

I think they are the same size but the 3rd gen bed rail is curved at the front and possibly the tailgate so you can't swap em. Don't hold me to this, it's something I saw in another thread.

It should work. The inside dimensions are the same so it should latch fine. Extang has different part numbers for 07 to 13 and 14 to current but I'm pretty sure the only difference is the outside dimensions of the covers.

Really tempted to pick it up. Just to see if it fits. Or I can try to sell it if it doesn't fit. Super curious.
    The cover is almost free!

I don't know if anyone is interested in a extang solid fold 2.0 tonneau cover in so cal. and I sure don't want to ship it something that big unless they pay for it.

Long did you end up pulling the trigger on this? I’m in the same boat for a diamondback bed cover but the opposite way. It is a 2014 and I have a 2010. Any help is much appreciated.

OP, did this older tonneau cover work for your truck, or did you abandon the idea?

I’m now in this exact situation with a 2015 crewmax diamondback se and wanting to put it on my 2010 CM. Did you end up doing this? Did it work without problems?
