Went with adding the TRD Skid plate off the hop. The tin that comes with it, gives little reassurance. I think I'll be painting it black, maybe white, just because.

Here it is installed for now.

    Sixth Mod - Sexy Rack

Like many men, I like a great personality... and a decent rack!
In keeping to something unique for my local (low-cal) I fell immediately in love with the bed rack offered by @jlee over at BAMF and I knew this is what I wanted... no... needed to have on my truck. I've had it now for over a year and still got compliments and asked where I got it. I also can't wait for some sliders to be built by him and his team... ;);)

She carried my Tepui RTT, which I will include a photo of soon, as I just got it back up on the truck and will be opening it up soon to prepare for a camping trip we have coming up middle of the month.
For now, enjoy pictures of my bare rack.

Bonus photos of the BAMF cut out and the cut out filled with genuine Canadian snow. From previous Tundra! :transformer:

Seventh Mod - Are You Receiving This Signal?

This one is nothing major what so ever, so keep them socks on. Just had to get rid of the stock antenna. Damn thing is way to tall/long. I had removed it on my first Tundra but was lazy on the Pro, however I wasn't going to just sit around this time. So I threw on a 5" AntennaX and so far after 2 weeks things seem to sound normal when I have on the radio, but I mostly use Spotify anywho.

Eight Mod - Light My Way

This is one of the first things I knew I would be doing once again on this truck. I hadn't done it on my last but had it on the previous Tundra and Tacoma. I was kicking myself each time I had gone out camping with the Pro and couldn't turn on lights in the bed. Especially since my RTT covers my OEM bed light (Third brake light). This really helps brighten up things and makes the bed very usable in dark situations.

I opt'd once again to have the remote option included with the lights. You can increase/decrease the brightness of the lights and also use various speeds of strobe, which is fun for party nights lol. The brightness however is truly great.

I've also noticed that since the original bed light I first had, @mattgecko is now using a better switch. I think I'll be appreciating this for the upcoming future.

Last little cool thing we added was the hood light kit also. Mr Matt, thank you very much and great product and service man. Always quick, responsive and pleasant to deal with.
Next truck, I'll be buying another ;) lets just hope it's in a few years vs in a year! :fingerscrossed::spending:

    Now, PICTURES!!!

We installed the light switch right into the holes that were already there from factory. (Driver side was used)

Hey Tim thanks. I used plasti dip to get my badges blacked out.
Works well. Will be removing the OEM badges once my decals are created and arrive.

Ninth Mod - Protect The Sills!

As we await some sliders (hopefully from the powers that be over at BayAreaMetalFabricators - constant plug @dcsleeper408 ) haha - The kids and my short self keep on stepping on the side area as we step up into the truck. When I had the side bars, we'd just step on that and then on into the Tundra so it wasn't as important. Needing to remedy this and also add some flash, I've put in the metal OEM sill protectors. In keeping also with the theme, I blacked them out with a spray can to eliminate the chrome look.

    Liking it thus far!

ps. With the crewmax size be sure to just order 2 sets of these, if they don't come in a pack of 4.

    Just plain ol' no protection...

Tenth Mod - LED Interior and Spyder Tails

This was done the day I took her home. Having swapped the interior lights on previous trucks, this is a definite must do, if you're looking for something fairly simple and inexpensive to complete. The upgrade to the lighting (as mentioned in many posts here) is great. I dislike the dingy yellow after experiencing beautiful white clear light.

I've also placed the Spyder tail lights back onto this truck, as I like the darker look of things and the nicer LED design to them.

So it's been just over 2 weeks since the horrific tragedy that was
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-IZZ_rjfqg

Now that Orion is home again, I had to do something to welcome him back.
Another round of visual upgrades has been made.

All chrome exterior has been colored black. (Side mirror caps plastidipped, handles changed to black, badges dipped and inserts applied!)
    Bed Stamp filled in
    TUNDRA tailgate handle decal applied
    Interior black vent decals applied
    TUNDRA radio insert applied
Radio screen upgraded to something more nerdy!

    More decals in the works!!

Finally got to getting the hood and roof wrap completed. My custom decals should arrive next week as well from what Purolator shows, so very excited about that. Once he's all dressed up, I'll be able to focus on other things next!!

Twelfth Mod - A Little Heritage

Soon as I heard these were available, I had to order up the Heritage Grill. Have a relocater on order via @ARES but for now I just have the grill installed with a blank opening and lights on the dash... couldn't wait to swap it out, so whatever. Few more items coming up shortly will be an ESP storage bin from @havasubud and some puddle lights from @headlightrevolution .

I'm getting a little itchy on the sliders, so I may have to pull the pin on that soon as well, changing which I originally had in mind... we'll see if I can't occupy myself with other projects first.

Enjoy the following pics for now!

Twelfth Mod - A Little Heritage (Updated)

So a few days ago, I ended up doing a thing. Courtesy the great craftsmanship of our very own @ARES I got the TSS relocated and working like a charm! I had the sensor pulled for almost 2 weeks before this arrived, as I didn't want to wait (impatient person) I wasn't sure if this was going to cause my sensor to be all nutty upon install, but after getting it all into place and taking it out for a drive to test the radar cruise and lane departure, things appear in perfect order.

Dealing with Ares was awesome. The guy is super prompt in responses, very professional and makes a great item. It looks better than I had thought it would have, and for someone like me who knows little I was able to complete the work in a total of about 20-30mins.

Thanks for your efforts @ARES and now.... pictures!!

We were able to get out this weekend and play with the toys once again.
Was a great winter camping weekend.

New toys coming soon that'll help protect Orion a little more.

Love the truck. How much did that wrap on the hood and roof cost? Any issues with paint color mismatch if it's removed? Thinking about doing the same on my truck. Does it help with glare?

A guy who I had connections to did both the roof and the hood for $125 CDN. I do notice the glare reduction. Not sure if I've convinced myself or if it actually does work, but I feel that it does.

    That's fair enough

I ordered the grill through Toyota Dealership.
The plate was through a former member here.

Thirteenth Mod - Calling Anyone... Anyone Out There?

Using the term very loosely, as it's all portable so no real modding going on here folks...

Anyone else use a CB radio? Just put one in a few days ago. Enjoy having it and currently its setup to be easily removed. I used Velcro to hold it in place. I may end up hard wiring if it seems like I'll be using it more often than I first thought.

Anyone got any photos of how their setups run?
