Picked up a grill from CJ off road and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Not easy to install. Have problems with the hood latch and led lighting. Oh and putting some of the factory stuff back on it. Anyone else try this grill?

yep I have it, whats the issues your having specifically?

I tapped into the parking lights, no issues. The hood latch required a few trys to get it right and even then it is a little harder to get to than stock but really not a big deal. As far as adding OEM items what do you mean?

Oh also I had to get the 2010 mounting system for mine (08) and then the steel mount "bar" at the bottom of the OEM grill had to be "modified" to work, might need the 2010 part for that also, or not use it at all.

I got it figured out. I grounded it wrong but corrected it. And the other items you mentioned I had the same issue. Just got super frustrated.

Now my only issue is the running light I tapped into is a bit dimmer than the other lol

    You have that issue?

No both my lights look the same....that is weird. But with the new Spyder my running lights seem much brighter, I have not put in LED’s yet, coming.

I ended up with similar headlights. Install was pretty easy. Now I just have to adjust them. Any advice?6D281EF9-17B7-4FD1-9EF3-0BE3F467E9A1.jpg4F2B0A96-1A55-419C-9E60-2536210C3546.jpg

No I really dont know any tricks to adjusting them, I did the 20ft distance from the wall and it still took me many tries to get so I was happy. I still dont think mine are perfect. The adjusting bolts on the drivers side is a terrible pain in the ass. PLus I need to put LED’s on mine, I was runngin sylvania super whites on my stock lights and the standard Hologen lights that’d ome with the spiders are not very good.

Why are your grill lights not on with the headlights?

Also the black looks good with Silver, I almost did that but then decided to paint the grill, pain in the ass masking it, but the black one your truck looks good.

Honestly I’m not sure. I tied into the running lights and there must be a switch that turns them off when you turn on your headlights from the factory. I’m kind tired of dealing with it so I’ll let it ride for now lol

Yeah I got the HId bulbs with the headlights and I gotta say I’m not that impressed. I think I got the 8k or 10k bulbs. If I was going for light I think just some HId In the factory housing would be best. But that’s not cool lol
