Ok, finally... Here it is. My 2010 RW, with a 2016 bumper. It took so damn long because I had to get a bunch of pieces to finish it off. The RW bumper is one piece, so I had to buy the upper bumper trim, and the retainer frame that it mounts to. I also pulled the factory fogs, and spray bed lined the bumper. I installed a 30" light bar behind the bumper grill, and cube pods with the adapter plates. I had to paint the upper bumper cap to match, then mount everything up. I did the 1/2" bumper spacer mod while I was in there. What do y'all think?

I'll take two, everything about it looks perfect!

You don't happen to have a specific parts list on hand of what was needed?

I assume Upper Cover - Toyota (52129-0C901) might be what you mentioned, not sure about the retainer frame though.

    More pics please:militarypress:

Not really, though I do need new headlights and a PRO grille... Maybe down the road.

$250 for the complete bumper assembly, I found a real cool fellow Tundra owner that gave me everything after he installed his new aftermarket bumper.
$100 for the upper bumper reinforcement
$80 for the upper bumper cover
    $50 in paint
$50 for the fog light adapter plates
We stock the spray bedliner material in bulk.
A company promo'd me the light bar and cube lights, as our shop is a dealer for them.
So probably just under $600 our cost.

Yea, thats the upper cover 52129-oc901
(52072-0C020) Bumper Retainer Sub-Assembly is the other part needed.

Thanks guys, I love this look... It wasn't tough to do either, the hard part was making it all flow together.

Looks great nice job. I really like the way the bedliner looks against the gloss black. Can we see a side shot of it please?

Mine aren't perfect either... I used teh spacer mod to bring it out some, I still have to stretch the bumper some on both sides to get it out to where I want it.

So if I have a 2011 Platinum with a 2 piece bumper, do you know what part numbers I would need to complete this? Is there any fabricating you had to do?

How did you pull in or push out to make it flow? Other versions show the upper trim being narrower than the new bumper by maybe 3/4" on each side. Did you pinch in the end caps, or flare out the upper trim?

I guess if you are going the bedliner route (which I would) you can do a lot with the endcaps and just bondo and paint them right.

Also, if it ends up fitting this well, any thoughts on why a Gen3 aftermarket bumper wouldn't mount right up, just below the straight line painted trim?

Spacing the lower bumper out 1/2" makes it all flow much better. I didnt mod the bumper at all... yet. I want to pull the sides out each about 1/2" to give it a flared look. Yes, a 3rd gen bumper should fit right up

So just the 3rd gen bumper is all that’s needed? Just pull my chrome one off and put this one on and good to go?

As long as the bumper is complete, then yes, that's all you need. Meaning, all the inner bumper brackets that make the bumper a complete assembly.
