Anyone been out there w/their Tundra yet? I've never been out there and am curious if it's doable w/o special tires.

I’ve been there a few times with my ATV. There is no way I would take my Tundra out there. It would definitely need special tires and possibly other mods. I wouldn’t take mine from the standpoint of tearing it up. There are a lot of crazy people out there. If you want to take an actual vehicle out there buy something cheap that you don’t care about.

All that being said, with the right equipment it is a fantastic time!

I know this is a year old but someone else near Little Sahara! It is 70 mile s-w from home for me. I agree with B never take your truck out there. Total destruction mmay occur. Myself I haven't been there in a few years. They have snake hunts every year. I'm not a snake guy myself. These are Diamondbacks out there. I have prairie Rattlers but they are not aggressive at all. One bit my dog last summer. He's ok just a scar on his nose.

Its ATV/UTV type park. I would never drive a truck out on the dunes.

Dunes aren’t too bad if you remember to air down, don’t go straight over one, always make a turn at top so you can see what’s on other side, pick your line way ahead of you and don’t be afraid to turn around and find another line. Oh yeah, don’t drive the dunes around noon. No shadows.
