I would be very grateful if someone provided updated instructions (with detailed photos) for the 2018 model. I applied the mod to my 2012 years ago and I really miss it on my new truck. However, I’m not comfortable with experimenting/guessing on a brand new truck!

does anyone have an image of the AJ10 (grey)connector and the pin position for a 3rd gen tundra. (using the attached Eddie's v1 doc) I can't seem to locate the correct wire.

    edit
figured it out for anyone doing this mod in the future you want the top left grey wire on the grey connector.

    Not enough space here...
So you just depin or cut that grey wire and this allows the fogs to turn on with Parkin lights, low beams, and high beams, using the stock switch?

you need to add a jumper wire between the pink and grey wires. all the details are in this thread. yes it allows you to turn on the fog lights with high beams and running lights

Thank you @mtTundra and everyone else!

mtTundra is correct about AJ10 being in a different location for the 2016 model.

Just adding a little bit more info for the next person ...
in my 2016, there are 2 grey connectors under the kick panel.
Both connectors are kind of hidden behind bunch of wire harness.
One grey connector is on the top left (horizontal and has thicker wires)
just under it to the right there is a 2nd grey connector (vertical and has thinner wires).
This is the one that mtTundra has a picture of (refer to his post above) and this is the connector you want as he has pointed out.
It works and if you can do it under 1 hour (as someone has mentioned in this thread or one of the other threads), you are a genius!
    I ain't one! lol

    Thanks again everyone!

I got these for my 2007 crewmax. They're the smoked OEM style. I bought a cheap replacement chrome front bumper on Amazon and the tabs don't fit right but I zip tied it up pretty good so for the price it looks pretty nice. What is a good stock replacement bulb for these that is brighter than stock? I've heard people put 9005 high beam bulbs in them but I would be afraid of them melting and if they didn't have melting problems would be afraid of getting pulled over or causing an accident so wouldn't put them in anyway.20180520_172021.jpg

Check page 1 of this thread. There are a few links for different year Tundras.
I recall references to older Tundras either from page 1 links (buried within posts) or somewhere else. I think fog light any time (page 1) maybe more universal and may apply to most Tundras.

Thanks for the great thread. I have a 2018 DC and upon looking at my wiring, it does not match previous year trucks. has anyone attempted the "always on fogs" for 2018 via pink/gray jumper lower dash/kick panel method? I'd like to retain factory switch. If all else fails, I'll go the route of 5 min relay ground method until there's a confirmed technique for the 18's. Pics attached of my setup...

    @Ikonrat
    Read my post #76 above.

from your pictutes, looks like the wiring in your truck is same as my 2016 DC. I have the same 2 grey connectors as in your picture.

Close up pic of the connector under the kick panel. Instead of the gray wire on the gray connector, mine is white with black stripe. Also, the lower dash plugs all look totally different from earlier years.

Use the relay method easier faster basically the same outcome. Fogs come on with parking lights and shut off when they do.

Trying to get the exact process for 2017 CM.
I don't really want the fog lights on all the time, but would like them to stay on when I flip on the brights.

FWIW, I tried the attached FodLightsEddieV1.pdf fog light mod today and with the help of posts 64 and 76 it worked like a charm on my 2015 Limited. I altered the guidance a little bit and instead of cutting the wires, I removed the pink/gray pins from the associated plastic connectors and connect the pink/gray pined wires to each other using a jumper wire. This way it should be easier to go back to stock if needed.

Thank you Jrfor0 and everyone, I just did the same thing on my 2014 Limited and it worked great! I depinned the connectors as well avoiding having to cut any wires. Thanks for the tip!

Just did this mod on a 2011 and it worked great! Only problem is lights no longer turn off automatically, which I enjoyed using. Going to see if I can keep the mod while bringing back auto off function by incorporating a new relay.
