Thanks Ron! I considered Methods and SCS for a lil while, but I love the simple look of the BFD’s. Plus I don’t have any rubbing issues while on road.

I know a few of the NorCal boys have em. This one fucker in Denver may have em too...

Was watching Expedition Overland, and naturally that led me to Patriot Camper’s site...long story short, they have a badass flatbed “travel trailer.” Price is steeper than Mount Everest, but I think it’d be badass to DIY one like it someday. Especially since once the Tundra’s paid off, I plan on buying a side by side.

That is pretty rad but the price tag would put me in a position where I’d never use it. I’d always be working to pay for it :sadviolin:

Exactly why I’d like to buy a deck over trailer and add a few of the features of something like this (a cargo rack, drawers, somewhere to place an RTT, etc.) myself.

Had a hell of a good time at the ToyTec CAD, unfortunately had to go look at some fields out in BFE afterwards though. Did snag a few pics of Gadsden out in her natural environment though.

Also, bought some engine splash guards for the Tundra and one of those phone grip deals at the CAD. Don’t like my engine being completely exposed, the splash guards on mine have been missing since I bought it. With the AIP having already been replaced, it gives me piece of mind.

That’s Woodrow CO for ya ha. Did see more groups of antelope out there than I ever have, including the first baby pronghorn I’ve ever seen up close.

That’s cause maybe 3 people live inside “city limits.” Almost everyone that lives there is a farmer or employed by a farmer.

After a few beers, decided to partially debadge the Tundra today. Still need to get the dealer sticker off though, will be deciding down the road whether to get ride of the Tundra and 5.7 stickers. Hated the SR5 and tailgate badges most, so it works for now.

Added a floor jack and a 4 ton bottle jack to the toolbox, since 1. I hate scissor jacks and 2. The truck isn’t stock height anymore. Cut out a 12” piece of 4x4 wood to help with the height difference, but at least now I’m not completely screwed now if I have to change a tire. Would’ve loved to buy one of the $300 offroad jacks, but for now this works. Next I need to buy myself a full size tire and another FN wheel. Also, thinking I’ll likely order SDHQ ABS guards today.

Thinkin I found the sliders I'm going to get, found a local outfit in the Springs that makes a good lookin set with a kickout and top plates, painted and installed for $650. A few of the guys on the Rocky Mountain Tundra Group have em, and if they can stand up to the hell they put em through I think they'll do just fine for me. Spoke to Ryan, and he convinced me to do weld ons rather than bolt ons. So once bonus time hits they'll get put on. A few other things will likely get done to the Tundra with bonus money, but haven't quite decided on that yet. Here's some pics of the sliders, some of you CO guys will likely recognize the truck.
