Nope. TH IS close from going King 3.0's, King 2.5 air bumps, new leaf pack, new UCA which was going to run damn near 8-9K. Totalled up what i was spending and decided to sell it. The Tundra is a bit dated and would have liked it to have changed a bit more. It was the hardest switch as I no longer have a Toyota.

    History:
    16 Tundra TRD Pro
    16 4Runner TRD Pro
16 4Runner TRD Pro (yes i had 2 different colored ones)
    14 Tacoma
    11 Tacoma
    08 4Runner
    06 4Runner
    06 4Runner
    04 4Runner

Going on 18 years. Shooting for 20 years at least. Time will tell. I think the values are starting to rise and based on a local similar truck selling for $15,999 my 02’ may be worth more then half of what I paid after 20 years! Blown away.

Usually keep it till the warranty is up. But since Toyota gave me a 8year/125k warranty for free because I had a few issues out of the gate. I might stay with it longer than usual.

I have owned my '02 for 14 years, and my '07 for almost a year.

No plans to ever get rid of either of them.

I said that once I started modding that was it. Someone would have to make me a ridiculous offer to get it now. Therefore, I'll just keep it.

If somebody offers me an obscene amount of cash for either of my Tundra trucks, I would consider selling

Used car stealership is asking that $16k. They might get it? The Cali guys are paying it from their feedback.

I searched all over the country for an 05-06 4x4. I noticed the further north and west I looked, the higher the price was. Found one in Yakima Washington I really liked. It had 210,000 miles and they wouldnt go any lower than 13k.

Kept my last one 10 years and only traded for more cab space. So this one is an easy 10+

I want mine to be my last new truck purchase. Unless Toyota gets their heads out of their butts and puts a DIESEL in the Tundra, we run out of oil or I kick the bucket. Whichever comes first.

    20 years hopefully.
Still have my 2000 F150 4x4 Supercab, almost 250k and bought it new in 2000. Went with the 2018 Tundra Ltd CM 4x4 so i could fit 2 car seats and the new Ford didn't inspire longevity confidence as I want another 18 years of drama free ownership and hopefully the Tundra will make it and then some. Probably pass it on to the kids for a first vehicle, teach them to work hard for gas money with that thirsty 5.7l :)

Both my wife and I like paid off vehicles. Her 2014 MDX will be paid off May of 2019 and, after that, we'll apply those payments to our Tundra. We'll keep both until they become unreliable, financial boat anchors. I can almost guarantee that will be the MDX first. I'm just hoping to get at least 250k out of it before we have to replace it.

The Tundra, hopefully, will be around 20+ years. We don't get new vehicle desires like most.

Forever until it dies....which will be a LONG time from now. Even if I get a new truck down the road...for what I paid for it and what it will be worth when I'm ready to get a new vehicle, there is no sense in getting rid of it. May as well make it the "go have fun with it and don't worry about dents and damage" vehicle and keep the new one pristine

Currently own a 16 year old '02 Sequoia and 13 year old '05 4Runner @approx 200,000 mileage each, wife drives the Sequoia, and 17 year old daughter, the 4Runner which was handed down from my oldest daughter.

We may push the Sequoia another year or two and possibly get another Sequoia...the 4Runner, perhaps another four years when my kid graduates from college, she can buy her own car...lol...

My '16 Tundra TRD Pro will be my retirement truck and hopefully drive it to the ground...lol

Hoping to hand it down to my son if I get it paid off quick enough. It would be nice to have no car payment for a couple of years, so if that happens he might miss out on it.

I’ll keep it as long as everything else stays afloat. Sacrificed many trucks to make ends meet. Doing good now and love this truck. Wish I could drive her every day

    All original
I have had my 2000 Tundra since May of 1999. Really. I think they came out about 3 weeks before I bought mine. Question has anyone in the USA had one longer than that? I am just curious. I put 150,000 miles on it in the first five years that I had it. Since then I only use it when I need a pickup. I now have about 180,000 on it. It is a true cream puff if you only consider the mileage. However it has been challenged a few times. Now because I am retired it is used only during bad weather, or trips to the big box store, etc. Only thing done to it was replaced the factory radio, starter and radiator, besides wear items like tires and batteries. It still has the original breaks. I would be comfortable driving it anywhere at any time.

I'm kinda waiting to see if the new model will be something I like the looks of. If not I'll seriously consider trading in the 2014 for the last of the 3rd Gens.

My son just turned 9 a few weeks ago. He is already saying that he wants my truck when he gets his license. :lalala:

Maybe I’ll get him a used Taco and drive my Tundra for 12-15 years?
