TRD rear sway bar coming in tomorrow. That should be on tomorrow night :D

Will likely do the TRD Front sway bar after I get used to the rear sway bar.

Decided on BA exhaust 8" Standard, but not sure when I'll pull the trigger on that. Maybe next year. Maybe next month. Free shipping for that system right now. Headers would be nice, but those are off in the distant future. I'll throw in the drop in K&N after ToyotaCare ends.

Tow Mirrors still on the list too.

Clear ceramic film for the windshield to cut down on the heat.

Probably upgrade to the HID spyders early next year (they work good enough for now, but will want upgrades for a long trip we're planning)

Fog light replacements. under bumper mounted backup lights.

maybe eventually a level kit / small lift.

I think the next thing i'm going to tackle after RSB and a good wash & wax is chrome delete the interior. I want to do some vinyl wrapping, just gotta figure out color scheme that I'm not going to quickly get sick of lol

Shooot that was a year ago! We’ve upgraded that little monster to one we use the shoulder strap to buckle him in. He’s mostly learned that daddy is not afraid to “pull this car over!” Deliver some spankings and resecure the strap.

That one is sitting on a shelf in the garage for little miss once she’s out of her rear facing.

Yeah, but we’ve got the high backs that were cheaper my 5yo grew out of. A friend was about to pitch his boosters so we took those off his hands.
The one he’s in now is also a ton lighter and easier to take in and out when he’s riding with others, or not riding with me and I need the seat in my truck for incompatibile passengers.

I think it’d look better without them. How do you like the BakFlip cover? That’s #1 on my list right now.

About th vinyl for the sides, I saw this in Humble today. It’s overkill, but something like that does look pretty cool.

IMO: It does look better without them!

I like the cover. Holding up great so far. Does it’s job: covers the bed when you want it to, gets (mostly) out of the way when you don’t. I’ve hauled mattresses, couches, desks.. all with no problems.

Nefews we’re climbing all over it one day... I hollered at them and they got down.. it it supported 40-80 lbs without much issue LOL they did bend my brother in laws up though... not bad but it leaks a bit under the rear 1/3. So it probably won’t hold up to being stressed like that regularly.

I didn’t realize you already took them off. I like the ones like mine, with the “bolts”, never cared for th smooth ones.
Did you install the cover yourself?

Nope. Had it installed from the dealer. That said, it doesn’t look super complicated.. the support rails are just clamped to the underside of the side of the bed as far as I can tell.
I had some pictures but I must have deleted them because I’m not seeing them now. I’ll snap some in a bit.

I’m hoping to get the Bakflip and the Bakbox before too long. Maybe I’ll get them to give me one when I get my daughter a car.

Probably worth looking for a good conditioned used... was way over priced imo (hindsight)

Personally I like the ones that look more like they are part of the panel and not bolted on. Ones that give it a bit more aggressive look... not sure if they actually replace the front corner panel or not.. Fred haas had a beefed up one in front of their dealership last year when I bought my truck. I’m no where near getting that done though...
