Got a set of 35x12.5s mounted today. Fills the fenders much better.

You can def see the de-chroming I did on the grill surround here. Used an eraser wheel on the drill and the chrome would crinkle up and pull off pretty well. Then I sanded it and tossed some primer on. Slowly prepping for bedlining this heap haha.

Thanks a lot! The tires are 35x12.5r18 dick depek fun country two’s (Second generation tire). I’ve ran a few pairs from new in the past. They are a nice quiet and still aggressive tire. A friend of mine just gave these to me though haha

Put a tow hook in there. Recovery point and keeps the dirt out. About 15 dollars on Amazon

Oh ok I should put one in thanks. I’m going to cut the rear of the fenders and build a low profile slider bumper with a hitch receiver on it. It should have better clearance a foot higher

Just installed a sweet score. Bought this intake for $160 used. The filter looks brand new. Was missing two bolts for the cover. I’ll have to track down some nice stainless ones to replace the nasty rusted spares I had kicking around. Anyway. Cheap price. The swap was easy. The throttle body was caked in blackness. Took it off and gave it a good cleaning along with the screen downstream of it.

Pulled apart my drivers side cv joint for inspection after finding grease sprayed all after my truck haha. Looks like a pinch cut in the original boot. After inspection the driverside outer cv joint was clicking so decided to replace both with the heavy duty upgraded cv axles. First side took 2 hours. Passenger too 20 minutes. For anyone planning on doing this do not remove the brakes or hub. Totally a waste of time. Just remove the lower steering bolts from the steering knuckle and the cv fits past it. Glad this is done!

Thanks. Just ordered them from the local Napa. The axles have a logo looking ‘C’ engraved on them. Don’t what they are. But I do know the boots look much nicer than oem. And the axle themselves are quite a bit thicker than the oem shafts also.

Today I repaired a rad support crack. This one has been on my ‘to do’ list for a long time. The hood would flap in the wind as the rad support was cracked and not solid. Not too worried about my crap ass looking welds as the tranny rad covers it up haha.

Also gutted the rear cats today. Not much of an exhaust note change except at wot. Which is good. There were def some plugged ports so a decloge should be helpful on mileage.

Update on the cats. I deleted the fronts and added o2 sensor bung extensions(1”). Engine light came on. Will be adding two more 1” bung exentions for a total of 2” extension and see what happens.

Got a second inch of o2 sensor extension installed. Drove a few hours on the highway today to the city without code issue. Looks like 2” is the magic number. Also, fuel mileage dropped from 23L/100km to 19/100. Score!

Got new 37x12.5x18 Nitto Terrapgrapplers installed today over stock Tundra steelies. These are temporary rims until I save the cash for my real wheels. Installed 1.5” wheel spacers up front for uca clearance as well.

The big net was given to me from work while operating for them. I’m now in the office, so don’t use it at work anymore. I’m drawing a blank on the brand name. I’ll get it tomorrow for ya.
