Gotcha. Nah, I'm not interested in buying them. I'm selling my truck this weekend so taking mine off. Wanted to see bout how much you got for them.

Mine are a bit simpler than yours.

Feel bad for ya cause you've had some many issues man. I guess I got lucky because minus having to replace a ballast about a week or two after I got them, I've had no issues. Good luck man. I hope it all works out in the end.

I appreciate it. Yeah I paid a little over $900 for them. So that sucks to have all the problems, but owell. Happy that yours are doing better than mine, ha. Have a good one.

So what happened to Leo? Is he still posting on here? He took care of me when one my cores arrived all beat up by the UPS gorillas. He packaged and Returned to UPS and I fled a claim. I got the full amount of declared value plus shipping back from UPS. Leo gave me credit for one.

Good question, I dunno. I reached out to him twice over the past few days and never heard from him. I assume he saw. Oh well, I am unfortunately out of the Tundra community for now so I guess it doesnt matter much for me!

Jesus, that is awful. What all has gone wrong with yours?

Mine was super basic so maybe that's why I didnt have issues. Just a ds4 projector with a 35w HID kit. Nothing fancy at all. Had to replace a ballast and igniter once and remove one of the head lights after having them installed but that's it. (in all fairness, if I had more issues, I would probably be just as pissed as yall) Especially I had to pay shipping for an issue that WASNT my fault. That's BS. Kinda glad I sold my truck now. Who knows how much of a pain in the ass those lights would have been later on down the line.

Hard to beat a factory option. Buying projector conversions is pretty sketchy from any small company, let alone some dude who sells them. There are plenty of good conversion kits available, and executing the conversion is a detailed game of patience. After doing mine I would guess the experience would allow me to do another set in about a day, few hours less if I didn't paint the housings. How much is a day of my time worth? More than I could charge anybody for a set of DIY converted headlights. So if you're getting a reasonably priced DIY job from somebody who does it for a living, keep that in mind.

In all honesty your best bet is to buy a factory upgrade, if not do a retrofit yourself and take your time. Do what I did and get a second pair of headlight buckets so that you can spend time on it without any truck downtime.
