I have a 2015 SR5 4.6 and am wondering what this plug is for. I am installing a Tekonsha P3 brake controller, and I’m wondering if this plug is for a Tow/Haul button. Can anyone confirm what it’s for? Because if I can add the tow button that would be awesome as the 4.6 doesn’t come with it.

It’s stuck in the panel that holds the traction control button, and right next to the brake controller harness.

It’s for an aftermarket brake controller.

Are you sure that's what this for? I really need to hook up my Prodigy controller and I didn't think I had the wires but this is there. Any idea where I'd get the plug that plugs into it?

Yeah I have that wire, but there is no harness to be found on the truck. I do have the wires pictured above but it's not a match.

I suspect that would be for the park assist option or auto high beam option. That is not the brake control connector.

Its Park Aassist, I just had that panel off last week while removing dash vents to paint. My Tundra has the park assist feature and I plugged that back in when I re-installed.
