Brand is AlphaOwl. We all drooled over them after seeing them in pics from the Sema show. No one could find them. Months later, when they were identified, they turned out to be crap.

I dunno, they work great........ during the daylight hours, but the DRL (day time running light) only works at night?:notsure:

I think the '18 OEM LED headlights w/ @iHacker harness are probably the safest bet going for our trucks.

Totally but I’m a bit biased since I have them already lol.

It’s so worth the light output compared to stock and other aftermarket lights. HID retros still might be better though.

I looked into these when they were first released for sale. They look very cool and had so much potential, but the designers really didn't think it through. My 2 main drawbacks were:

    1. The light was too "tunneled" and not bright at all. I think this is a major safety flaw
    2. Even though they have a really cool "led" bar in the middle, it does not function as a true "always on" DRL. Plus the led strip is very dim.
They could've made these a true option for headlights if they would've just given it a bit more thought.

You're exactly right. The lights were down right dangerous on winding roads because there was no spread to the light pattern and you couldn't see anything entering a turn. And, what's the point of the big "Nike" stripe if it's not illuminated during the day?

Since I did not order them, I do not have any first hand experience with them, but I did have quite a bit of correspondence with the company. From what I was told, the the big "Nike" stripe only comes on when the parking lights/headlights are turned on and not like how true DRLs are. I also read that when the "Nike" light was on, it was so dim that you really could not see it during the day time. Nothing like the OEM '18 LED lights. My friends tell me they can always tell when I'm coming for they can see the "cat eyes" LED's way down the road. I have the fog light mod so I frequented run with the fogs on, so then they call it the cat eyes with dimples.
