I've always had them on my previous trucks but dont really wanna do them on this one unless I can find a very low profile in channel set. BUT I do think I'd like one for the rear window. Anyone have one that they like? I like the idea of leaving that window cracked open to let heat out, also when driving but water really drips in a lot, even dew from overnight does. Thanks

I was thinking about one of these as well and havent found anything I am ready to pull the trigger on so far. I agree that I would like something a little more low profile and probably in-channel. If anyone has something please post pics. I would really like to see what it looks like.

Not to be a jerk, but why would you ever want to reduce the beauty of that big beautiful window?

Haha that's the thing. I want a small shade for the very top. Something low profile and that goes in the channel. I'd like to be able to open it more often really

Got it. I love that window. Kids do too. Sunroof down, windows down = awesome.

I know this is an old thread, but I just emailed WeatherTech to see if they have considered making a rear window in channel vent/shade to match the side low profile dark tint. I'll let you know if I get an answer. AVS has a stick on that looks like it works in channel also based on another thread going on this subject. I'd go with that but I'd like a more low profile WeatherTech version to match the side vent/shades.

I had WeatherTech's on my Camry years ago when they were the only in-channel vent visor. I think the glue on vizors look really tacky. I used the AVS from Amazon which were 1/2 the price and I love them. That had great reviews also. With tinted windows and the dark tinted shad they are hardly noticeable and to be able to keep those windows open when it's raining or hot or both can be a blessing. I like fresh air and it keeps the temps in my black interior down.

I received a response from WeatherTech and they answered my inquiry asking if they are considering making a vent visor for the rear window Tundra Crewcab as: No, we don’t have a rear window vent shade for Tundra Crewmax. This was after an email back n forth to help them understand not the rear side window, the rear window that goes gown.
They obviously drive big 3 and don’t understand the rear window going down hehe. Maybe some day they’ll look at what their competition is doing over at AVS and get going on a rear in channel vent shade for Crewmax. I tried.
