It will limit articulation off-road, how much this takes away from your suspension depends greatly on how much time you spend near the limits of articulation. For high speed desert running it may prove beneficial, rock crawling not so much.

Yeah I'm not doing any rock crawling. Lol
I just have it laying around. I've heard that sway bar really complicates the coachbuilder shakels.

We have many guys not just PRO owner using the rear Sway bar with our Coachbuilder shackles and have noticed how well they work together. The sway bar keeps the axle and body parallel during corning where our shackles keep the pivots in line during acceleration. Makes for a extremely controlled and smooth launch transferring the power down to the ground. Hope this helps.

Would people recommend a rear sway bar for fast desert off roading?

Yes, if your running a extended rear shock be sure your sway bar is not resticking down travel and may need to lengthen your end links.

I've always wondered why the TRD Pro doesn't come with more TRD parts. I would think it would have at least the TRD CAI and the TRD front and rear swaybar, maybe even the TRD oil cap and TRD radiator cap. I'm sure there are more TRD parts but if I was to build a TRD Pro why not throw all the TRD parts on it?

Putting a sway bar on a pro is like cutting the balls off Pro. The whole point of the Pro suspension is large and small bump compliance, plus articulation. You put on a TRD sway bar and you taken away the key feature of the truck. Pro wasn't designed as a street queen it's an off road truck. I would never put a sway bar on my TRD Pro.

This, that's also why I took my front bar off too.

Def right on, W have quite a few PRO owners that either tow heavy or haul heavy and love the sway bar feel. Th softer valving is a blast offroad though without them.. everything can work together
