On this particular website I mentioned above you just enter you vehicle info and they give you color codes to choose from. Most colors are just a base coat then a clear coat to finish, which was the case for me. A full can of color and clear with shipping was under $40. I did 3-4 coats of each, and it was a perfect match.

Rob, take your truck in before you do the shackles. TOYOTA sometimes doesn't have the bed adjusted correctly. It's pretty easy for them to adjust it square. I've read several people that have beds misaligned straight from the factory. Then you can get the most recent ffv update at the same time.

That would be nice... I think we have a few on the Tuscon area and I know of another in Chandler and Mesa. When do you plan on making the purchase?

Spent a little time in the garage today installing my Hypertech Speedo Calibrator. I think it sat on my kitchen table for about 4 months, giving me that guilty look everyday. I think I was just feeling a little unsure about pulling my dash apart and wrecking something. Turns out it wasn't as bad as I made it out in my mind, lol. Hardest part was getting the top clip on the side panel at floor to lock in. I had this problem in the past. Definite PITA! Decided to wrap and leave USB cable in door jam, until resizing tires later. I did disconnect battery too for 15 minutes, to reset ECM. Some have said to do, others haven't. No problems yet! Truck did seem more responsive too in shift points.

Awesome build man! I am located in Arizona as well and I'm wondering where you got the vinyl done? Do you have the name of the shop?

On Friday night, I finally got my Coachbuilder +2 shackles and spacers installed. They had sat in my garage for about 10 months. I'll be taking a ride out CA the beginning of January to finish up my exhaust by Keith at BAMufflers. I'm excited for that, just haven't decide what route to go. It's difficult to imagine what level of drone I'm willing to tolerate. We shall see.

Nice build there! How's the ride compare to stock with the shims and shackles installed?

Thanks, I really like the ride both ways. Really with the addition of Coachbuilder products, it doesn't alter the ride, just the stance. The shackles do firm up the rear end a little, which I'm okay with. Overall very happy.

Hey Robert, as you know Kieth is the man for exhaust. Don,t think any of his stuff will cause drone, just a little louder. As you probably know the bigger the muffler, the quieter it will be. I think his 6"& 8" systems are standard, but I met a guy here in San Diego that had him put on a 10" system because he tows a big trailer and he loves it. Good luck with everything..........

I'm actually headed out to his shop next Thursday. He's putting together a special TRD replacement section for me. I think he's doing a pair of 5x20's. I'm pretty excited to see the outcome.

I put it all in his hands and basically said whatever's going to be my best setup, let's do it. I'll make sure he gets a few picks of everything.

It's actually a little quieter now, but the sound of the grumble is deeper and a much lower pitch, a tiny bit of drone at around 20mph, but nothing that's bothersome. I got a little bit of HP and TQ back too. One issue I'm having now is engine light is sticking around. Going way back to the beginning of my build, I added an AFE Cai and throttle body spacer. I was definitely not knowledgeable in my purchase and just started have code issues. The spacer was removed a long time ago and I'll be removing the AFE intake soon and going back to stock. Recommendation from Keith, to just keep stock setup and change filter to a washable one.

Total parts and labor is approximately $2100, I've only heard good reports about this mod, so I'll toss in my opinion once I get it back and go through the break-in schedule.

2+ years ago when I bought this truck, never did I imagine the path that was ahead of me. I only have this forum to thank for all my crazy ideas and influences. No regrets though, having fun along way and sharing Benjamin's!
