Try the Phoenix, they give you 30 days and the new unit is faster booting. Think you could get one for $650.

    how fast is "faster"?

I'd gladly pay double the price if it worked like a pioneer or kenwood.

Not to sure on how fast on 2nd gen, the fist gen is a bit slow on boot up but by the time I'm backed out the garage heading out the drive it's up and running along with wifi and Bluetooth.

I have a 2018 Platinum and I like the GPS the "premium" head unit comes with. What does the Phoenix use? Thank you!

The one and only reason i bought the head unit for was oem sound was not loud enough. The size and wow factor were a added bonus. Paid $630 shipped and it had a 30 day return policy. I use google maps if needed.

How long have you had it? Any issues?

I think it was last December, and no major issues with it. The most common issue is that the temp display is not right temp. the light's on the unit don't match the factory color lights, but is easly fixed. Screen doesn't dim for night driving but is easly blacked out after music is started. i live in northern Minnesota and i dont have any problem keeping the temp steaty. I know it held up to a -30 temps ok, and i am taking it all in slowley. Most common things ive seen is people are going in and changing to much to fast and get into trouble. I made videos of all settings before i do any changes.

From everything I've read, you can only get a JBL in the crew max.
