Anyway, when I bought the truck it does not have the trailer wiring there anymore, it just has a grey plug under the bed. I went to toyota today to see if i was still qualifies for the recall but after looking they said no. I tried googling to see what this part even is, if it was the trailer 4 flat wiring or not but I couldn't find it. Does anybody know what this recalled replaced and do you think I should still qualify for the part? I am adding the picture of my grey plug and the recall notice.

    Thanks

The converter is a small plastic enclosure with the electrical components encased in epoxy, it's about the size of a pack of cigarettes... I changed the lights on my boat trailer over to LED and had to change the converter at that time due to something called hyperflash...the converter was mounted up high and center of the bed above the tow hitch. If you have nothing hooked into the plug, there is no warranty replacement since there is no risk to your safety..
