You know, no one likes when something breaks, or starts not working properly. It's unfortunate but we usually are all very thankful for warranties. Well recently, about 45 days or so, I bought all new LEDs for my truck from VLEDs. While some stuff was pricey, I fell in love with the look and brightness of them. Well a few days ago, someone pointed out that my 3rd brake light wasn't working. So I started trouble shooting the issue and came to the conclusion the light had gone bad.

Yesterday, since I was off work and had the time I sent an email to them asking about proper warranty process. This morning they promptly returned an email asking me to destroy the light and send a picture. It took me a minute to realize, why. It was definitely a 1st for me, especially since they didn't ask me to return the item but to purposefully break it further. When I got home from work, i did as i was instructed, and within the hour, I had a response. It was a thank you email, and soon followed the shipping email.

It's not very often that you encounter customer service like this in day to day life. I found it truly remarkable, as I really wasnt looking forward to spending a another $40 for 1 light. As a side note, and slightly off thread topic, every vendor I've dealt with on here has been top notch.

So to those who are on the fence about spending the extra money for the VLED brand, please keep this in mind if you want hassle free resolve of your problem.

Is this the brand everyone is using for the interior cab lights too? Iv been wanting to upgrade some of the bulbs like cab and cargo light and reverse lights. Is there a list of part numbers? Are there a lot of problems with these bulbs or is it rare?

I'm really glad they have such good customer service and I will definitely consider VLED when I upgrade my bulbs, which I hope is imminent.

It concerns me though that people are having so many failures.

In general are people having good luck, regardless of the brand they use, when they upgrade their bulbs to LED's? I'm particularly interested in experiences upgrading headlights.

I once talked to a very accomplished dirt bike racer of Baja 1000 fame and he said: "If you want to rock, keep it stock". I'm wondering if this applies to LED light bulbs as well.

    Thanks.

Yes for the most part, this is the go to brand. I have attached a fitment sheet for all lights for your truck. There is also a compatibility drop down menu on the top of the web page. They are pricey, but in my life I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

I haven't heard of too many people having many issues with this light brand in particular. As you mention headlights, they do sell a LED headlight, but most people are looking for something completely different when they start playing with headlights. Usually it's a completely different housing and light setup as opposed to just swapping a bulb.

Vleds is good to go. All I use for interior and exterior. Also running their micro LED for headlight.
Most of the issues I have seen/had are/were with cheap Amazon LEDs

Surprise yourself. I went with the 5500s, and depending on the location determined on whether I went with long life or high output.
