I'm presently looking at a truck that has been debadged totally of the chrome toyota emblems (4wd, Iforce...) Is is hard to put them back on correctly? Or expensive?

Check eBay I think they have full badge kits shouldn’t the to expensive. Also a lot of take offs here just post an ad. I have some tundra door badges I can donate. And some smaller Toyota ones off my Tacoma.

No. Just measurements if you really want them back on.

I had someone else do my chrome debadge then black rebadge. Cost me about $105 for the black OEM emblems and $100 for the debadge/rebadge.

That being said, you could totally do it yourself as it is pretty simple.

How do you remove existing badges, heat gun?

Also does anyone have a source for black gen 1 badges?

    Thanks

Fishing line is what I used. No heat gun.

Also, @Sting Ray has some great emblems if anyone is looking

Personally, having been through this once, I'd buy new badges that already have the double sided tape on them, whether via ebay, Amazon.com or @Roman. I've taken badges off with the intent of painting them, and putting new double sided tape on to look good is very difficult if not impossible, and I ended up buying new ones to paint. You mileage may vary depending upon your skill level and level of patience.

I wouldn't mind painting the chrome ones if black wasn't available. Having a hard time finding Gen 1 badges. Trying to refresh my trusty '03

    Thanks for the tips
