I bought a system from the for my Tacoma. I asked him if he had any fat friends or employees. He laughed. I think it meant no.

Added some components in the front and back. I put the tweeters in the sail panels and removed the dash speakers.

Also got my new shoes on too.

I bought the vent rings and radio stickers from eBay. The tufskinz were over priced in my opinion. I believe the eBay seller is a member from this forum.

@4x4_Angel the ones I bought from eBay are vinyl. I bought matte black for the vent rings and Barcelona red for my radio letters. Nice quality. I'll take some pictures of the both this morning.

you can PM the person I linked in the post. they have a website they sell vinyl for Tacoma/Tundra.

they are active on the Tacoma world and this forum.

I've been buying from him for over 2yrs and not once has any of his products failed when properly installed.

had numerous decals from him on the 2016 Tacoma that never peeled or anything and even surviving 2 harsh winters before I traded off the Tacoma.

Tnx buddy. I can tell you after having for a week and the truck still looking clean, not needing a wash, and after driving to work today in the rain watching the water just bead up and slide off, it's amazing stuff. I can already tell this is going to make the upkeep of the truck so much easier and less time consuming.

I'm not trying to be a dick but I know the owner so I got a great deal on it and don't want to broadcast the price over the internet. I can tell you this though. A big part of it is how much paint correction is involved. So if u take a brand new truck over and it doesn't need any paint correction it will be half the price of the coating plus p.c. I can also tell you this, on a truck our size they usually charge and get around $1200 all day long depending on how involved. I will also tell you this, even if I paid that, I think it still would be worth it if it lasts as long as I'm told.

    Any other questions feel free.

Subscribed to SiriusXM. Should have done this from the beginning. Not sure why I waited so long between trial ending and now.

Just threaten to cancel every 6 months and they will keep you at the introductory rate.

I love Sirius XM - pretty sure my commute would be far more violent without it.

For MY use: It doesnt make sense to get satellite radio. I dont want to spend the time to deal with them constantly trying to get a better rate. Spotify is $10/mo and I can play anywhere I can hook my phone up to. Sirius wants $21/mo for that... $10/mo from Sirius gets you "sampling of music, talk, and news" ....

I can think of rare cases where satellite radio would be nice... mostly traveling in dead zones... the rest of the time I'll just stream music from my phone.. during those times I'll be limited to what I have saved on my phone lol

Everyone is different though, just wanted to mention it. :)

I have Amazon Music, which is like Spotify but works better for me. It's $14.00 for a family license, which gives me 6 licenses I can hand out amongst family and friends. Literally EVERYTHING is on Amazon Music. It also allows me to download music and entire albums even for use when I'm outside of cellular/internet range.

That being said, I still like having Sirius XM because there is something about radio that you will never get from a streaming music provider. I love the Tom Petty channel and Lithium (I'm a child of the 90's). I agree the normal Sirius prices are too high, but I'm fine with the "introductory" rate. I don't mind a 5 minute phone call every 6 months.

I have over 72000 FLAC and MP3 tracks (I've been collecting and ripping my own CDs since before most people even knew what the internet was), and I still get tired of listening to the music I have stored and cycle through. This is the gap that satellite radio fills for me - I love having variety and the ability to listen to music that is outside of my normal rotation.

    A bunch
Funny I stopped with SiriusXM because of the lack of variety. I'd switch channels 3 to 4 times a day and I'd hear the entire playlist of all 4 channels. After 3 weeks of 10-12 hour days I was so sick of SiriusXM. Terrestrial radio at least has local news and weather to break up the same 10-15 songs. Spotify is what I use on long road trips now when I don't feel like searching for a radio station I want to listen to.

Got my full set of tires and 2 spares.. Toyo Open Country MT 37x12.50R17. Also got my SixSpeed Icons. It’s funny cause I was regretting not ordering the Rebounds instead due to the fact that they’re hub centric and I liked how they looked a touch more. I think the universe heard my regretful thoughts. And I got a ridiculous deal.

Aside from the satellite radio thing, we're basically the same person
Grew up in the 90s (lithium is good stuff.. and I've enjoy some Tom Petty radio too)
Had the amazon trial for me echo, but wasn't a fan - I've enjoyed their free service for the last year or so - that family package sounds like the way to go... Thanks for mentioning it!
Spotify has more content (according to the reviews anyway) and streams at a higher bit rate (better quality - but I've found amazon to be good enough for my taste in music).
Been ripping music since before Napster got big... mid-late 90's I'd rip my friends music for them and hang onto a copy as my fee :)
Google's "radio stations" were good until they started getting crazy with ads, Amazons are just a rung down from there IMO. Generally I hit skip a lot, which gets annoying so I go back to my playlists haha

Like I said, everyone's different! (but apparently we're not THAT different...)
