Hey all, I am doing some searches to find a recovery duffle type bag that I can put a strap, jumper cables, etc in that isn’t huge and that can just sin in the cab corner of my bed since I have a bed cover. I have a tire repair kit with small compressor I need to fit it in too. I was looking at medium sized duffles at cabelas but I am sure some of you fellas have some great ideas so I am reaching out! I need to get a strap also so any advice on a reasonably priced easily packed strap would be great. This is just for general helping needs such as pulling folks out of snow, mud, etc.

Go to Home Depot and look at the soft tool bags. I tuck mine under my rear seat so I have split it into more than one small bag.

I bought three of these bags of Amazon. [IMG]. One contains snatch block, several D-rings and Wheeler's snatch strap. Another holds tree saver strap, more D-rings, winch gloves, wireless winch controller and cable for non wireless operation. The 3rd contains misc tools that I might need out in the sticks. I was considering going with one large bag but too bulky and heavy.

Check out the tool backpacks. Rugged built and usually have a hard plastic or rubber bottom to keep things dry if you set them down in water or mud

I currently have an adventure tool company roll and also love their bags but they are a bit spendy.

I won’t lie though, the smell of the fresh waxed canvas is almost worth the price of the bags :spending:
