Retrofit Bezel Custom Paint Issue!

It has come to my attention that some retrofits could possibly have some of the paint sticking to the top of the lens. This seems to effect those with custom paint and only effects the top part of the bezel.

CAUSE
When the lights are on (HID and LED) for extended periods of time (1+ hours), the heat from the HID/LED bulb expands the aluminum bezel which allows it to touch the top corner area of the lens. The paint usually sticks to the top corner of the lens due to this.

This DOES NOT effect a bezel that either has the ORIGINAL CHROME, or TRD PRO BEZEL (GLOSS BLACK FROM FACTORY)

AVOIDANCE

Because of this I will not paint the bezel using Flat Colors such as Matte or Satin etc. The bezel CAN be TRD PRO gloss black, Color Match paint using High Automotive Grade Clear Gloss Finish, or leaving the bezel Chrome. Though the bezel may/will touch the top of the lens during extended use, no paint sticking or issues will occur to the bezel or lens using the above options.

No it only effects gen 3 lights.
