I just installed my BakFlip F1. Pretty easy install. Still need to figure out a solution for the drain tubes. (They don’t fit in the holes in the bed side). All in all pretty happy with the way it looks, wondering how waterproof it will be - only time will tell.

Thinking of getting the Bakflip F1 for my truck. Any updates on how waterproof it is? I have a long bed so I am limited to the number of tonneaus I can get.

I have owned 3 bak flip covers. I drove 14 hours in the rain and there was a little water on the bed but none of my luggage was wet. I just purchased a 19 tundra and will be installing a bak flip cover and possible pop lock which Will lock the tailgate every time I lock the doors

Figure out the drain issue? I just got a 2019 and an F1 cover, installing today.

Don't get the mX4. Mine leaks horribly on the sides from a mild rain and light hose. I took it off and reinstalled it and it still leaks. I had the G2 on my Sierra and was happy with it.

There are plastic covers on the front wall of the bed. Pop the most outer one off on each side, drill an appropriate size hole in each one, pop them back into place, route the drain tubes through them.

I have the F1. It’s a nice cover. Mine leaks a little near the front on the sides in the rain or car wash but everything stays dry inside.
@tyk4 i used a step drill bit to make the holes in the bed a little bigger so the drain hose would fit. I sprayed some bed liner to cover up the bare metal. It’s working good for me.

I have the MX4. No problems with it. When it rally pours, I get just a tiny bit in the bed.

How's the MX4 so far? My neighbor is looking at MX4 as the lund tonneau covers he like does not have any stock last time he checked. F1 seems a great choice as well.

Has anyone experienced the rubber weatherstripping peel off of the BakFlip tonneaus? I just bought a 2015 CrewMax Limited with a BakFlip F1 installed from CarMax on Memorial Day & noticed it peeling off. The truck is in great shape, except for the BakFlip tonneau.
