Nice! I love my shield. I have the Ameriglo sights too, and they are great.

My wife has an M&P Shield 9 and loves it. I went with a Glock 17. The only thing that’s happened with the Glock is a stovepipe when I let someone shoot it with limp wrist. 1k plus rounds with no other problems.

been looking @ a performance center 9mm shield myself for carry. normally i have my full pro series mp40 with me and carries very well but in warm weather i would prefer a shield.

for your entertainment... a guy in my shooting squad at my last 3 gun match had a serious malfunction of his m&p 9. he was ok but it effed that pistol up. zoom on area above trigger around the slide release. the slide cracked there too. hes very lucky that it didnt blow up on his hand, but it almost did. through 3gn camaraderie he finished the match using a fellow shooters pistol and ammo

He had reloads. Thats why the other guy that let him run his gun gave him oem ammo to run the last 3 stages with.

I ran my mp40 at that match and after it happened to him i gutted mine apart to inspect it. No defects were noted on mine.

The Shield 9 is what I carry also. It’s been my favorite of all the ones I’ve tried so far.

Just got a set of Truglo tritium/fiber optic sights. Supposed to be good day, night and in between. We'll see.
