Just picked up my truck from getting line x. When I picked it up all my eyes were really on was the stupid sticker they put on the window. I've done a lot reading on here with issues people have had. So I was loaded with questions before I dropped of my truck.
Bed bolts out and torque back in.
Mask off inside the tail gate.
    Rail system removal.
    And ect. Ect.
the bed looks good. I'll have to really look close and remove the tail gate cover. But going to wait the 24 hrs so it cures.
What really pisses me of is the after spray on the paint. I'm obviously going to take back tomorrow. But have anyone had this? Can just use like goo gone to get it off? heres a look at her. IMG_2219.jpg IMG_2220.jpgThanks.

The overspray should just come right off because the paint wasn’t prepped. If not just take it back they should be able to remove it. Then just put some wax back down. I brought my truck in freshly waxed and they couldn’t even get that masking tape to stick LOL.

Clay bar is an option also, but I wouldn't futz with it until you talk to them first. Shouldn't be a big problem getting it fixed either way.

Pretty common. I can’t beleive the shop let it roll out the doors like that.

I know it’s not a factory option on Toyota’s, but I sure went that route this time with mine. So far it has been a better Bed Liner than anything else I’ve purchased before.

Unfortunately, it is common. However, it also comes off pretty easy. I had a few small spots on mine as well when it was done. The guys were still wearing their gloves when they took the masking tape off and left a few very small marks. I saw it as soon as I got home, my bad for not checking before I left. Anyways, I turned around and went back to the shop. They put some cleaner on a microfiber cloth and it came right off. Sorry I cant remember what it was, possibly isopropyl? After they cleaned those spots, I gave it a quick wax just to be safe.

This will take it right off, just dont let the line-x cure to long.

I had a similar issue so I called to ask after I had mine sprayed. They recommend I use armor all to get it off. Worked like a charm. As others have stated the prep is what makes it stick.

I stand corrected. For 580.00 you can get a factory spray in bed liner! Nice to see Toyota joining the party.

They used to just take the vehicles to line-x and have it done. Personally, it just never held up like I thought it should. This is a huge bonus for Toyota in my opinion. Little pricey, but still a better option.1A47EA5F-171D-4434-B8FB-19A35C2EE317.jpg

Save your money and get a Line-X. The OEM beadliner is very hard and slick. Your cargo slides around. I had to get a rubber bed mat to prevent that.
