What’s up everyone. New member here from Nor Cal / Oregon.

Headed to Wyoming this coming week to pick up a 2014 Tundra Platinum which I found in the Tundras for sale forum here. https://www.tundras.com/threads/sold-2014-platinum-with-trd-super-charger.26711/
    (Thank you, @alpinepro4!)

I’ve been looking for quite sometime, thinking I’d buy one and build it out... instead this one just happens to have nearly everything I want including that TRD supercharger, heck yeah!

I’m going to bust a few upgrades shortly after getting it:

    1. A winch set up, haven’t decided if I want to go stealth behind the factory bumper or go big and get one of those Go Rhinos... any input? And then either a WARN or Smittybuilt, crazy price differences...
    2. The 46 gallon transfer flow and maybe even a 40 gallon tank in the bed for toys. Anyone done this yet? Eventually I want to put a shell on it, any thoughts on how that’d work with the bed tank?
    3. TRD dual exhaust, I’d prefer the Flow Master, but want to keep the factory warranty intact. (Sub 24k miles on the Tundra)
    4. 2018 OEM Smoked headlights and I’m swooping the custom harness by @iHacker.
    5. LED Puddle Lights and interior bulbs
    6. Driverside oh sh** handle
    7. Console safe
    8. Towing mirrors, I want to paint them to match along with the door handles and all the silver dash interior parts.
    9. Last but not least, I want to get a Travel Lite Falcon 24BH like this one: https://www.midwayrv.com/rv/grand+r...aveltrailer/2283/travel+lite+falcon+f-24bh+gt this summer is gonna be a good one!

I’d love any input you all have or let me know if I’m missing anything critical...

Also, after I pick it up in Wyoming I’m heading to North Bend, OR... anyone know of some sweet spots I should check out along the way?

Thanks for the badass forum! I’ve lurked almost every recent thread, good stuff.

Your welcome, I have driven the truck and man it is badass! I will be around when you pick it up. Can't wait to see the look on your face when you get it. Definitely get the transfer flow tank, the SC does get decent mileage.

You heading to Bend, Oregon or North Bend WA? Either way head to creators of the moon in Southern Idaho. Very cool place to explore. I can take you to Granite Hot Springs while your here to.

Awesome! Looking forward to it... I’m heading to North Bend OR... I know, weird, it’s a few hours north west of Bend up the 5. I will definitely check out creators of the moon! Thanks for everything, bro.

Considering a member on here texted me a photo of a SR5 with a lift today at the dealership for 59K, you will enjoy this truck a hell of a lot more.

That is exactly how I feel; I’ve been scouring all the used/new car sites and I am certainly getting incredible value for my dollars. I’m very impressed with everything the 1st owner did to it and how much he babied it. It’s a rare find.

    Badass truck!

Gas external tanks are generally frowned upon for the minuscule amount of research I did a while ago. Something about vapors and exploding :bananadead:
