    @dragos28 damn..just read the 15 pages..crazy. truck still running fine since then ? last oil analysis came back good ?

    The link to the catastrophic K&N fail has convinced me to ditch my K&N. Will be buying a Wix today. I put 275,000 miles on my Z71 and it still uses no oil. Mostly on road driving with some off-road, but still......

    Disregard the 4lo and trac lights, they come on (usually) whenever the check engine light comes on. It's a package deal. Since all of these systems communicate, when the engine computer detects a fault it triggers fault codes in the other systems.
