Anyone know of a good kit for the tundra? Looking to put a shot on it but undecided on a wet or dry shot and how much really to put through it. Anyone have experience with this?

I can't answer your question but I think that a Nitrous kit would be awesome. I'll be following this thread and good luck with your project.

Direct port wet shot did well for me in my Honda. Probably the most consistent power I ever got from nitrous. First setup I did dry through the intake sprays were inconsistent going in. Closest cylinder to the throttle body took most of the spray.

Curious what your ultimate goal is? Plan to use a WOT only switch? How many stages? Or a progressive throttle switch?
Easiest would be a dry system, your manifold is not designed to flow fuel. Do a single dry nozzle with fuel enrichment by the factory injectors or a direct system with supplemental fuel handled by the nozzles themselves.
Single dry nozzle risks inconsistant distribution as dcsleeper said. Direct port costs a whole lot more for installation, both systems do not work well with a progressive switch, so it's a WOT switch. You will probably want more then 50hp so now you need a 2 or 3 stage kit, and you will run out of RPMs with a 2 or 3 stage kit in first or second gear. The 3urfe is not designed for high RPM, nitrous is a power adder designed for high RPM use.

Advise on what you want the system to do for a more definitive answer.

Thank you for your insight, I’ll definitely have to keep researching on this and find out what will be the safest kit. I’ve got a buddy doing a 150 dry shot on his going through his intake box and he’s has it on there spraying the crap out of it for about 60000 miles with no problem. I’m just not sure if it’s a time bomb or what.

I’m looking to use a WOT only switch for sure to keep the RPMs higher when it’s in use. I wanted to just use a button that way I can spray it on and off when I please. Which is usually letting off between shifts and then getting back on it

Use an rpm window switch. And a I’ll throttle switch. Call the guys at nitrous express. They are open to helping even if it’s not a oremade kit that they have.

Keep it wet. And keep it below 100hp and you’re stock reliability. Go up to 200 and you’re on the edge. But run it rich and you’ll be safe. (10/1 afr)

Make sure to install an afr gauge, colder heat range spark plugs, and bigger fuel pump. And only spray with 91+ in the fuel tank.

I say stay away from wot switches.
I had a boost by gear-so only certain rpms delivered the shot. Best power gain and consistent just as long as the bottle was warm. I had a kill so if I was just driving around boost by gear never kicked in.

Any recommendations on the bigger fuel pump? As in what brand to go with?

Did this nitrous setup ever come to fruition?

Interested, somewhat for entertainment. But I do already have a flex-fuel, so the fuel side is taken care of.:)
