    Nice! Thanks for the update.

So, when you say "a little stiff", how much stiffer than the originals? I know it is subjective, but can you put a round number on it? Like 10% stiffer ride (again, I know this is sort of ludicrous to ask, as it is really in the eye of the beholder)? Have you loaded it up yet to see how they respond and hold the weight you were having issues with before?

**For vehicles with the TRD Exhaust, the exhaust will need to be modified to work with shackles.

Mine only hits at full droop. Which takes a lot. I do however have the coach builder shackles.

Loaded the truck up yesterday with my bikes and heavy bike rack. This when the squat was noticeable. With the Aclans the truck felt awesome! No squat and the rear end felt planted and smooth, especially over cattle guards.
One thing I notice the Pro suspension saved my ass many times with flat OEM springs, I never felt the rear end bottom out or overwhelmed, and I know it was Pro suspension doing there job. Last week I was on a gnarly road and the truck handle like a camp, road was rutted with massive holes and moon dust. What the Pro was made for!
Overall very pleased with these springs, it was a lot of money for spring steel but worth the money. Those of you on the fence I would highly recommend Alcan springs. They are easy to work with, and will build whatever you want. Make sure to get your springs built with RB 192 bushings, it's more money but will keep the squeak from occuring.

I don't have a problem someone pointing out that "will" should really say "may", information is useful.

Alcan is Grand Junction, CO. Time for a trip West. You can stop in Moab on the way back and try out your new leaf pack.

I’ll report my adjustable ToyTec shackles worked with my TRD exhaust without issue. After looking under my truck, I’m not sure how they would be an issue.

How about full droop? I think that’s where it comes into play.

I should save extra scratch and drive over to Grand Junction and get a custom set of Alcans. That would be very wise. Worth the money spent and a very nice road trip. Some nice wheeling too on the mesa there!!

Still no clue how the shackles come into play given where they are....seems like the leaf spring would foul on the exhaust before the shackle

That’s the problem. Having a shackle may cause the leaf spring to come into contact with the trd exhaust.

After a good night sleep I will add this. So, my TRD exhaust was already installed and then we installed the ToyTec BOSS with the shackle. My service manager did call and said he didn’t the shackle was going to work because the springs don’t have enough clearance from the exhaust. They were going to ditch the shackles and go pickup a block to use. Everything was installed on the truck so this while it was on the lift when we were talking. Anyway, I insisted they should work because members here have the same setup. He called back 30 minutes later saying everything was fine. When they dropped the truck, the springs went up into position and then had plenty of clearance. Again, this is not my expertise but it seems like the load (weight of the truck) gave me additional clearance. Does this make sense? I will be hauling a 600# load of charcoal this fall so that might be my true test.

So I’d like to make clear that I don’t have them. But from my understanding.
I don’t think you will have issues with the truck loaded down, it’s when you are off roading and get that rear end articulating, or you jump the thing. It’s win the axle has no weight on it that the leaf springs would droop and hit the exhaust.

The best way to test to see for yourself would be to jack the rear end of the truck up by the frame, letting the wheels and rear axle hang.

Sounds good. I had clearance on the lift. The extent of my off-roading will be hunting. I should be good then. Whew!

I have considered air bags but for some of us, losing even a small amount of articulation is a big deal. I’m always happier when all 4 feet are on the ground but they frequently aren’t when I’m off-roading. The air bags would function like giant bump stops, i believe.
