I think instead of going with the 5100's up front I want to give these a go. I'll shoot you a PM.

These must be really new because they aren't even listed on Eibach's site yet.

Looks like these are sized the same as the 5100 I have now. Do you have any plans to do a 60mm shock like the 6112 and offer the springs too ? I currently have the 5100 and am looking at doing an upgrade. Thanks much in advance.

No plans for a 60mm, but we have a spring in development that will work great on our shock or the 5100.

I'll need a couple guys to test them.

Pick me...getting ready to try a 6112/5100 combo - but willing to give your product a shot if it makes sense...

Looking to level my truck and improve the ride. Is this something your product accomplishes?

I may be game....literally was cruising the site again looking for cons of the 5100's. Had Eibach springs over 5100's on my Tacoma and loved them. Looks like they are adjustable with a snap ring as well; what are the lifts of each position?

I bought a set of the Pro Truck Sports. My plan is to use them at stock ride height. I was very surprised to see the instructions include a step of installing a bump stop spacer. This would reduce total wheel travel. Is this right? It seems crazy to make a shock for the truck off road market that reduces total available wheel travel.

Does anyone have thoughts about this?

    Thank you!

I have 6112's on the top setting with bump stop spacers. I don't think it reduces the travel, it keeps the shocks from bottoming out. Remember that the truck is now sitting higher. So from sitting level you probably have the same if not more uptravel than stock. The spacers are just a washer, maybe an 1/8" thick.

If you use the lifted settings, I agree it doesn't reduce total travel because you gain more height.

But at stock ride height, it does reduce it.

I dont think the Bilsteins have a stock ride height setting. The Eibach does and I dont want to lift the truck.

Then I would think that you shouldn't have to worry about the spacers. But you'd have to ask Ryan that question to make sure.

I don't see how raising the spring perch affects full bump. My guess is they had to make the shock body longer to accommodate a lift. The longer body means that at full bump the shock is fully compressed before the bump stop engages.

I think this is why Bilstein doesn't have a stock ride height option.

You could be right. I wonder if anyone makes a performance shock that doesn't add any lift for guys like you that Like the stock height.

I too would like this info.
I am looking for a suspension/tire upgrade to reduce/eliminate the horrid bed bounce over the expansion joints on the interstate.

    Thanks

I love the ride quality these provide. Stellar product. I would urge anyone looking for a leveling shock to give these your consideration. I can't wait to get the rear shocks to replace my oe ones. I did a little review thread with some pics a few months back. Just now found this thread.

I know old thread. Does anybody know how thick the shock body is on the Eibach shocks? Are they aluminum or steel bodies on the shocks and the Coilovers 2.0?
