The black handles on the outside of my truck are turning gray and almost white (I guess from the sun). Is there a product out there that can help restore that or would I need to buy new handles?

Try some WAXADDICT. Seems to be popular here and I've had good luck with it.
I'm sure the experts will chime in here soon

see thats the thing.. i see nothing and feel nothing... just the smell.. funny thing is im at a dealership now having our highlander serviced and was walking the tundra line and smelled it again between the trucks... the new rubber on the tires smells identical.. perhaps my one tire is off gassing? very strange... my tundra has just under 4k miles on it so i guess it may be the case.

Might be. I know it always scares the hell out of me when I get a new vehicle and start smelling something burning.

i only smell it when opening the rear door or standing near the bed cab intersection. im wondrring if a squirrel peed from above... csnt see it in the pic but my powerline feed is right above the truck. i havent seen any signs on the paint. perhaps it peed on the tire or side steps if it was a fox or raccoon or cat

Clean the jamb thoroughly, and try and see if it hit the plastic end of your nerf bar.

There are some dedicated clay lubes out there...even some that combine fallout removal (DoDo Juice Supernatural Ferro lube, for one). Most quick detailers will work. If you have a Pep Boys, Autozone or Advance Auto Parts near by, they carry Griots Garage Speed Shine....which will work very well for you

Is there any kind of polish I can apply by hand that will remove light swirls? I dont have a DA and dont trust myself with one lol.
I was thinking after I decon clay and wash I'd do a light polish before applying reload or hydro2? Something like Adam's revive hand polish? Is it not even worth doing and is it correct to do it before I apply my sealant?

Cat, raccoon, fox pee and pee in general contains ammonia and that contributes to the stink. If you're still smelling it try wiping the area with some undiluted white vinegar. Vinegar neutralizes ammonia. I don't think it will discolor anything but try it in an inconspicuous spot first and rinse it thoroughly. @SouthBoundSteve might know if ammonia is safe on painted surfaces?

Start with vinegar and water. 50/50 mix. This gets most of them. If that doesn’t work:

I went with an idiot proof buffer, a Porter Cable 7424XP, you can't burn the paint with it. First time I ever used a buffer was that on my black Tundra, zero swirls, zero burning issues, came out like a mirror.

    You will be fine I promise. I washed/dried/bug&tar/clay bar/was/dry/compound/polish/wax.

Took a while but came out great. I need to do it again soon, that was a while ago.
