My old man turned me on to this new sponge that has taken the place of the clay bar. Just spray a lubricate on the paint and a couple of passes with the sponge. Wipe off and follow up with some wax. Did the truck yesterday and it’s a smooth as a baby’s ass. Looking sharp

Yeah I just tried one for the first time. Got a small and a large mitt. Used to use Griots clay but I think this cut my time 1/2 to 1/3.

Game changer especially if you drop it on the concrete.

How many containment’s did you take off? Curious to what it picks up compared to a clay bar. Have you tried your windshield yet? Truly curious.

They have 3 “grades” kinda like sandpaper. I got the fine grade. It took off the rough feeling associated with staying outside or on a dealer lot for an extended period. I didn’t think to do the windshield. I’ll give that a go tomorrow and let you know

Clean it, claybar and clean again with window cleaner of your choice. (Zero alcohol preferred) If you have glass sealant- add that so it lasts longer.
