I have 2016 crewmax Tundra with Bridgestone Dueller H/L Alenza P275/55R20. I bought this truck with 18K mile on it. Now at 32K. These tires are worn out! Im sure they are cheap crap tires but I have owned several Toyota's and this seems kind of early to be getting new tires already. Maybe I am wrong????

It all depends on the driver, air pressure and suspension set up as well as alignment etc. I don’t know much about those particular tires. If I get 30,000 miles out of a set of tires I’m happy. My vehicles see a lot of city street use and I don’t drive like an old lady.
The previous owner may have been using it to tow trailers or a lot of city driving.
Also I rotate my tires at every oil change. For me a rear sway bar helped on the outside edges of my front tires. For my use it’s perfect. I’ve got our most 23,000 miles on my stock Michelin AT’s. I’d say they are almost half worn. All depends on the rubber compound as well.

On my old pavement Princess sports cars and SUVs, I used to wear those tires out until they were almost bald before I would replace them. But I was a kid and thought it was fun when they would get like that. I called them street slicks LOL. Now if rainy season came around and those tires were looking like that I changed them out.

I am a woman but I drive like a bat out of hell half the time. I'm always late and in a hurry! The previous owner didnt do shit in this truck but drive to his office and back. It was garage kept as well. Whole other story since I have it now!!! Its a truck! I use it and abuse it! Plus, I have 3 boys and have to haul their stuff around constantly as well! Thanks for the info!

Air pressure, alignment, suspension, how the p.o. drove it, those are all factors. That said, I've owned three sets of Bridgestone tires and none of them lasted nearly as long as I expected. 30 to 35k and they were shot.

Buy new tires then drive it like normal and maybe they will last longer.

Like stated above depends on a lot of variables. My truck has the Michelins from the factory and I'm at 30k and will have to get tires soon. Religious on pressures and 5k rotations but I tow a lot, like 5-6days out of the week so this hurts my tire wear. Like other have stated 30-35k is a good estimate.

I have BFG ATs and little wear at 19k. They should go 60. Now the lady parked in a no parking zone at boat ramp ticked me off enough that I put a little wear on the rears. Not hard to lay some rubber down with 5000lbs behind you.

The basic fact is they put P-metric tires on a truck that needs LT. I've got 23k on my stock Michelins and the probably have ~10k left but after getting a flat Saturday on a gravel road I ordered some Ridge Grapplers today which will be at the shop tomorrow and hopefully I can get off work and be there in time to get them mounted tomorrow. I've rotated my tires at every 5k oil change and kept a constant 40psi in them as I tow a bass boat often. The wear is uniform and no signs of alignment issues just a weak tire for a heavy truck. Here's a pic of one and they all look the same. I do live in the Ozark Mountains with hilly curvy roads but regardless I expected to only get about 30k out of the factories when I drove it off the lot. Oh and I drive like a grandma.

I have rotated both times that I have had my oil changed! I have not hauled much either. But from what it sounds like this is normal mileage for replacing! Any rec on a similar more longer lasting tire? I am not trying to be fancy either, just practical!

Time to replace, by looks of it, I'd go Michelins IMO

Pretty nice even wear. Any LT tire should be fine. If you're on the road a lot and dont care for AT or MT tires, i would look at Michelin LTX tires that are LT rated.

Michelin in your same size but make sure it has LT before the numbers and not P.

historically on these trucks, the OEM bridgestone options have been quite bad (<30k a set), the OEM michelin options have been quite good (>40-50k a set)

my OEM bridgestones lasted 20k on my last truck, bridgestone gave me a credit and I got Revo 2's that lasted closer to 50k
