Im new to this forum and new to the Tundra truck world. I need some suggestions for an after market exhaust. I have an 2003 4.7... pros and cons of doing true duels. I don't want anything extremely loud but a little louder and deeper than the factory. Thank you

I run JBA shorty headers into the stock exhaust system. Sounds good, but not obnoxious.

I cant speak on duals, but on my 05 4.7 i have a flowmaster 40 series, and it is amazing. Not overly loud, but definitely noticeable deeper growl, and if you get on it, it will roar. Here is 2 videos of it

This one it is at the end where you can hear it

And this one it is just the beginning when i punch it a bit

If running shortie headers or stock exhaust manifolds you will be best served with a single exhaust that exits thru the stock odd ball size tailpipe.

If running long tube headers best is dual 2.25” into 2.5”.

On a mostly stock truck, anything other than stock muffler will gain 3-10hp and 10-20tq to the rear wheels.

The trick is, can you gain that power without losing low end torque and without drinking yourself to death.

Bamufflers has both covered. Call for details. 760-877-4234
