Have determined this vinyl is junk

Ok guys just wanting some thoughts on this or what you guys think.

 

Honestly, first thing I thought of was a Ford Raptor....personally not into the graphics.

 

Hit or miss, it does look raptorish. I personally dont think I would ever do it.

 

It does have some raptor traits but Im just not yes or no about it. It adds some depth to the truck just not sure though.

 

Ive noticed a lot of decals for the tundra resemble f150 designs

I vinyl wrapped the bottom of the truck to give it a transition and added protection from road debri but now it seems it needs something.

 

Personally I'm not feeling it

Looks different. You can definitely hide some scratches with this decal

 

I think this looks pretty good. The graphics in the pic look bad IMO.

 

Agree with this.... get with him and see what you 2 can come up with. Decals aren't for everyone, but its your truck. Brain storm with Matt and see what you come up with! An original is better than a mass product.... let's see what you come up with!

Thanks bud. I spent a lot of time doing the vinyl on the ro ker panels but now im like im not sure. And the rocker panels were a strange color anyway.

 

I guess when I did the rocker panels with vinyl wrap I was not trying to copy anything from other truck manufacturers but now that I have seen this I just want to remove it.

 

Personally,I like to keep things simple.Too many decals and such take away from the natural lines and contours of the truck.The Tundra is a great looking truck without any distractions.

 

I agree with you. The main reason I did the rocker panel was because of rock chip prevention and the coating that toyota put on the lower portion of the truck was almost a yellowish grey

 

I thought those would look cool, until I saw a Tundra over the weekend that had them. I didn’t like them in person.

 

Too much IMO. But if you like it, that's all that matters really.

 

Not everyone like decals, All truck manufacturers at some point have used them, I like it but I will drop the skull. I think it will look better without it. just IMHO.
