Been looking for a set of 17" Rock Warrior wheels for my basic SR5, its a 2011 with 4wd. Probably going with BF Goodrich tires with the white letters out.

Man I can't find a set of these to save my life. I guess everybody who has a rock warrior likes the look and keeps them on their truck. Ebay has a set with the BF Goodrich tires for like $2500, several sellers have new wheels for $500 a pop. A craigslist ad about 100 miles away from me has a set for $1500 with some trashy looking firestone tires on them.

Are the rock warrior wheels just really rare/expensive???

Been thinking about getting a newer 18" set of TRD Pro wheels, they look pretty cool with the black/machine finish, there is a set on craigslist new in box for $400.

Or maybe something bronze in color like this . . ..

    https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/res...ndra+4wd&autoYear=2011&autoModClar=Double+Cab

Anyways, should I just keep looking for Rock Warrior wheels or is that just a lost cause finding a set that doesn't cost $1500+ without any tires on them.

If you like 17s, then you should check out this thread:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/17”-version-of-bfd.26230/#post-642660

Since these are supposed to come to market, I wouldn't even think twice about rock warriors unless I got a deal.
    Weight. Check.
    Offset. Check.
    Color. Check.
    New. Check.

I'd bet the standard black/gunmetal/bronze would be offered by FN as well.

Rock warrior wheels are badass but expensive. But you can almost get 2 Method wheels for the price of 1 RW wheel.

I’ve been wanting rw wheels for the longest because they’re lighter and in the smallest size a tundra can have, I prefer performance mods. There’s a few for sale on tundra classifieds on Facebook for $750 for 4. I want to get king 3.0 bypasses in the rear sometime in the future and the offset of the rw’s won’t work. I might get FN wheels or hub centric method wheels.

I agree that RW are expensive and hard to come by. But TRD machined wheels for $400 is a pretty good deal.

Also Method Wheels and Icon Six Speeds come in 17" wheels that fit over the Tundra's big brakes, with the Icon's specifically designed with the right offset to fit larger tires with less chance of rubbing.

Thanks for the great advice, will give them a call.

BTW will these wheels poke out from the fenders?? I'm trying to avoid that look, cause I will then be thinking about fender flares lol.

I think the Methods have much less offset than stock rims, meaning they'll stick out more. The Icon Six Speeds should have more offset than the Methods but still less than stock rims. So more offset, the less they stick out.

Aron 9000, I have 4 RW wheels with lugs and locks. They are real nice. I was going to put them on my new truck but changed my mind. I was thinking about $1200 for them. Just throwing it out there.

    My vote is RW Wheels!
Depends how much of a rush you’re in. I found mine randomly on Craigslist for $600 including almost new tires! Got super lucky. I’ve been looking for a good deal on those for quite awhile.
    They do pop up though...

Good luck selling those^ I actually got lucky and found a set for $460 on the facebooks. Had to drive 100 miles one way to the bum fuck nowhere in Kentucky to get them, but worth it.

I just lucked into a really good deal, I didn't even haggle with the guy.

There are a few scratches on the polished hoops on mine, but I'm going to try and polish them out, or maybe just plastidip the hoops. Otherwise they're perfect.
