My cousin had one that did 300k miles, but it was at the mechanics more than it should have been. He ended up getting a Tundra, loves it.

I looked at the Titan because I only wanted a standard cab with an 8 foot bed. When I learned about the transmission problems and how Nissan is basically not dealing with the issue, I went with the Tundra DC with the long bed and figured I would get used to the length of the Tundra.

At the time I bought my Tundra, a coworker bought a Titan. He's already had the Titan back to the dealer twice for brakes that are hanging up. When he told the service manager that it was going to be embarrassing having to tell me that his truck was back in the shop -again- the service manager was not amused.

You'd think the service manager would be happy, vehicle repairs are his bread and butter.

That service manager knows that Titan is a POS. I’m sure he was just unfazed by it.

Have a friend with a 2004 titan with 174000 mi.replaced the brakes once, had the intake manifold replaced and a couple of sensors and spark plugs and routine maintenance.pretty good imo.
Other friend has a 2017 and so far so good other than radio/ phone problems that dealer can’t seem to fix.

I’ve heard the same thing: selling cars to people you know can lead to broken friendships...

My thought is... it’s a car. I sold it as is, and I’ll fully disclose any known issues. I’ll probably sell it below what I’d ask a stranger to pay. If you have problems and think I sold you something without telling you about a problem I don’t need you as a friend anyway. I don’t take kindly to my integrety being questioned.

I grew up in Gresham and delivered pizza all around there on and off while I was in college. :D I'm out in Oregon City now but I still feel like I know Gresham like the back of my hand!
