I use the same soap that i wash the truck with but after i use compressed air to blow the rims down along with door handels, mirrors, and those fricken platinum badges that hold about a gallon of water.

I do the same but use a leaf blower to dry everything

I’ve used both compressed air and the leaf blower. Both work well

Do you have your own power washer?

No I usually stroll through the local was and then go home and spray detail from there. I just dont use the tire cleaner on the tires because of the rear of streaking the wheels.

Try taking a spray bottle of distilled water and misting your wheels prior to cleaning the tires. That should keep any of the tire cleaner from drying on the wheels. When your tires are clean, make certain you rinse thoroughly. After you clean your wheels, coat them with McKees Wheel Coating and I think your problem will be solved.
