I know tundras have a rough ride but damn, this truck kicks like a mule when I hit a 2” dip in the road. I just ordered 6112/5160s and a trd sway for the rear. My question is what should I add next? The truck is stock, my dad didn’t upgrade/change anything on it. Still has factory rims (18”) and tires ( Michelin p275/65/18)

I never thought my truck road rough at all. But that’s subjective. Make sure your tires aren’t overinflated. If my trucks unloaded I run about 8 to 10 psi less in the rear than the front. For me the magic numbers were 36 to 38 psi in the front and 28 to 30 PSI in the rear. And these are the stock Michelin tires.

Welcome from TX! Nice looking truck!

Changes are more for what you want it to be. What do you want do you want it to be?

I am thinking level and more aggressive tires. I like those stock rims but many would change; could power coat them as well.

If it has drop-in bed liner you may want to remove and inspect for bed rust. Some get rust others do not.

Sorry for your loss, happy for your gain.

Check the air pressure in those tires, I run 29 in all 4 and it's much smoother that 32.

Welcome. It is a truck and will ride a little rougher than a car of course. Throw a sand bag or 2 in the bed, 200 lbs or so and it'll ride a lot softer.

Welcome! You will quickly learn to love the truck - it does not take long to grow on you.
Between the TRD Sway bar and adding a little weight in the back it will ride like a limo.

Thanks for the input on the tire pressure. I changed it to 32 front, 30 back and I can tell a difference. However, the low tire pressure light is on now, lol. FYI the pressures were 55 all the way around!

Tire sidewalls. Increasing tire size so there is more sidewall. It will ride and look better.

55 way too high. you may need to get closer to 40 to get tpms cleared.
They do not affect anything, just an idiot light.
will still ride better than 55
