    FC01A0DF-96CD-499A-A162-4E93FE7F4C12.jpg Hello all,
Figured I’d start a build thread for my bae, 2014 SR5 4x4. I got her a couple months ago and haven’t really done much except plan for the abundant amount of mods I want to do. I am not really planning on doing any extreme off roading (she’s my daily after all) so for the time being I am just dressing her up to look nice. Above is how she sat a couple days ago. Don’t be jealous of that awesome platidip job I did on the hood bulge. :facepalm:Anyways, on to the next!

Ahhhh, nothing beats a pile of freshly shipped goodness.

First thing is first, got with my broseph Roman and ordered a new bulge+ TRD Pro grille. Since I had the grille off went ahead and installed the spyder headlights with Hikari LED’s. Super impressed with the output from the led’s!

Didn’t take pics but I ended up debadging all 50 chrome emblems Toyota loves to put on their vehicles. Decided to finish up the weekend with some minor mods.

Took the suggestion of another dude and bought some flex tubing to run underneath the shift knob to get rid of that chrome gap between the shaft ( :dancingbacon:) and trim. Also installed a new center piece that I think compliments the interior well. (‘Merica!) Installed a custom shift knob that is probably my favorite part of the truck so far! (She’s the Black Pearl after all!)

Looking forward to seeing this. The other “Black Pearl” Tundra I follow on instagram is absolute schweetness, so you’ve got high standards to live up to!

Where did you get your shift handle and the flag inlay? I like those.

I bought the shift knob from Ellis precision. There are a couple threads on their stuff.

So I ended up going with Toytecs TU3 3”/1” lift, and I was sweating the sacrifice in ride quality most people were saying I would encounter but I honestly couldn’t feel much of a difference. I will upgrade to a much more aggressive setup (6” lift) in the future so this setup will only be temporary. This is how it sits at the moment with the 2014 limited 20” wheels wrapped in 275/55R20. 35’s will go on tomorrow! 922CB6FE-4590-43AE-9A99-279A8F34E731.jpg

Got the Cooper Discoverer ST 35x12.50 along with the 20x9 Fuel Vapors. I am pretty pleased with the stance, have some rubbing along the fender liner but that’s an easy fix. D992F938-5506-4745-8D06-6C1428BEFDFD.jpg

Also started working on the rear bumper replacement, it’s still a work in progress. For anyone wanting to get the rear go rhino BR 20 bumper, expect lots of fun with the installation.

So finally got around to putting the front bumper on and wired up the front flood lights plus light bar. I am surprised how well the bar and small flood lights light output are. Before and after pics:

I like your front bumper....I was looking at possibly getting one like. My only concern is how it will affect my front camera view.

Been a while since last update so here's a recent pic! Got new fenders on, exhaust, shorty antenna, and some other small stuff.

Hey guy just came across you build thread. It's been a while since I logged on. About your wheels, about what did it $$$ you? I already have the 3/1 lift on top of the RW package suspension so it sits plenty high for 35". I have 33" now that are going to need replaced in the spring so why not go bigger.

Keep your RW wheels and do 315 70 17, hell could do 37s really if you want to cut up some. You can sell your RW wheels and pay for your new ones. Get ahold of Darrin at Boss 4x4. He can get any wheel and beat any price listed.
