Yes, you’ll need to loosen it anyway because it angles at a higher height. So remove that bottom bolt on either side before you raise it, easy enough. Here is a pic of the shackle in front of the bar.

Newly greased polybushings make a difference in ride quality.

Yes, maybe!!?? You might have to change the way you mount the sway bar though. I had to adjust because my leafs were hitting at full extension after I put the CB+2 shackles on. If mounted properly with brackets on bottom of the axle, it will pull away bar forward and cause contact with the leaf. So I changed the brackets to the rear, to push it further back and allowing the clearance.

It should be as easy as undoing some sway bar bolts and moving out the way. You might have to turn the mounting brackets like I posted earlier. Sway bar is only an 8 bolt system, 4 bolts on rear axle and 2 on each side hanger

Yes you will have to loosen the shocks and disconnect the sway bar. I did the shackles last as well and had to undo everything to get the leaf springs to drop enough to install the shackles

Shocks dont need disconnect, just use jack to lift or lower to accommodate your adjustment.

Normally you can lift or lower the pumpkin enough to align spring bushing with shackle hole but having the sway bar already installed may prevent full drop without disconnecting sway bar links

Does that mean when he is at full droop the only thing stopping the rear axle from drooping more is the shocks? Is it OK to use your shicks as a limiter instead of the springs?

Not sure, full drop = tall stands at the rear points allowing max separation between frame and leaf?

Got everything done. Relocated the TRD sway bar to back of axel instead of bottom. Everything fits good now. Including resonator for BAM exhaust. Thank you out to all who chimes in to help me. This forum is awesome. Buying all the best stuff because of feedback on here. Ordered my Ray10’s and 285-70-18 Ridge Graplers and better side steps. Need to black out front bumper and mirrors and I will be stylin! Peace. D7D243FB7-C76E-495A-B621-B5A318303D1A.jpg

Thank you for posting this question - your timing was perfect. I had not considered that the swaybar would be an issue but after reading this I was prepared.

Had my shackles installed this morning and the leafs did hit the swaybar so we had to rotate the swaybar brackets.

Did that affect the ride at all? Is the sway bar still hitting the leaf? I'm curios to know, now that I have to add the CB 2 shackles.

No it is not still hitting the leaf. I don't know that affects the ride because I put him on at the same time. There was a very big increase in stability once I put it on, Probably cold be a little bit better of it was put on the proper way. No it does not hit the leaf anymore at full droop

I installed new urethane bushings in the leaf spring eye at the same time as the shackle. I had to drop the rear of the leaf enough to fit the pusher tool to avoid hitting the body panel and causing damage when removing the factory steel bushing. Plus having everything disconnected (shocks, sway bar) made it easier to work from the ground. I don't believe the shock was the limiting factor at full droop.
