They push it in that hard and still ask for 150 install? That’s a joke. Go somewhere else.

I got my ARE topper for like $1400. Nothing fancy on it but it does have the tilt down front window and double locks. I believe it is the Z series.

Also, I put my tracks and rack on my self. It was not hard to do and I suggest doing that to save a few dollars.

I bought an ARE CX Series back in December. It was $2,295, out the door (including tax and installation). I have the vented Windoors and the tilt down front slider. It also has carpet but that was a "free promotion" they were running that they seem to run all the time! I know the CX series is cheaper and some people don't like them but I wanted/needed the vented Windoors.

It also has a light. Not the greatest, but it is fine for my needs.

I thought about putting on a cargo rack but decided to wait. I think that was about $400 or so through the topper dealer.

If i could go back, i would get the windoors. So much easier accessing the from the side with those types of windows instead of having to crawl up inside.

They were a little spendy. I think they were $145 per side but they have been worth it. I think they were $110 without being vented. I carry my dog back there sometimes and need the sliding window.

It is handy to be able to grab stuff by going in through the side. Short people would not be able to do it though. :)

I was quoted the following prices a couple of weeks ago:
    ARE Z - $2245
    ARE CX Classic - $1530
    Tilt front window - $90
    Side windows $115
    Install $130
    Light $30
    LED Light $195
    Top Rack $375
(The options were for the CX Classic so may be different from Z)
    ARE V Classic - #1340

I'm looking at the ARE CX as well. Has it worked well for you?

Yes, it has. I have zero leaks. The Windoors are awesome, if that is something that you would use. The paint match is perfect. No complaints thus far.

I got an ARE Z tiltdown window installed $2300. Another shop in town wanted $2800 not installed. Was quoted a lot more in town for snug tops and leers. Centurys were priced similar to ARE.

Z series with tilt down/slider front window, roof rack tracks, electronic lock. $2800 out the door.

Mine leaked through the rear glass window pretty bad so I had to add silicone there. The seal design there is not the best.

I found mine locally on Craigslist for $1,000. It was off a 2016 and had e lock, sliding and folding front window, dual LED rope lights and all carpet top which comes with the z series. The dealer wanted $2,600 plus $300 for e lock option. 4783C991-C6CD-4F0C-ABC7-F03967D9DC59.jpg

I paid about $2300 for a Z, fold/sliding window, LEDs, installed. I don't know where you are, but you need to shop around some more.
I will say I had some leaks, not from the cap, from the tail gate. It doesn't matter the brand of truck, tail gates aren't watertight. I got creative with some weather strip and sheet rubber and no more leaks. The duct tape was for the prototype, I used adhesive for the final install.

About the same for me. Most dealers were about $1k more. It's nuts how much they are jacking prices up on these things. Mine is coming next month.

I have a snugtop myself and I leaks pretty bad from the fold down window and from the tailgate. I like this idea, where did you get that rubber material from and what type of adhesive did you use? Also, do any of you guys with a topper have the same problem that the back window of the topper scratches the top part of your tail gate? I am thinking about having Line-X sprayed on that part to match my bed. What have you guys done to protect this part of the tailgate?

I got the z series with the OTR finish - not going to bother telling you the price because I'm Canadian and we get bent over

Zero leaks, install is perfect, no bowing etc like some other ppl have had. and install was included - I've never had a canopy shop quote extra for install!

For some reason the dealer talked me out of the E-lock saying it was very unreliable now having hard time finding one to purchase

I've had my E-lock over a year now without a single issue. I did rewire it myself because I did not like the way the dealer ran the wire nor the wire they used.
