I just picked up a MGM CM for the shop to demo new products. One of the first things the family needed was some steps for the old people to get in. I have installed almost everything out there but I wanted to try something I had not seen in person yet. So being a RC dealer I took a shot on some HD2 Running Boards. Here is a look.IMG_1706.jpg IMG_1707.jpg IMG_1708.jpg IMG_1710.jpg IMG_1711.jpg

I was very impressed with the brackets and boards they are very heavy duty and easy to install. Many who have ridden in it have enjoyed how wide they are. My in laws are older and need sure footing to get in and out. These have delivered. I will share some of the other changes as they happen.

Looks good! Can you take a pic of the truck looking straight down the side so we can see how far it sticks out? I can’t stand tubular bars so these may be a nice option.

They stick out a little but when the new wheels get put on they should help keep mud off the side of the truck.

that looks awesome! I really like the wider Step rails, makes it easier to get in and out.

I looked on the website and it was out of stock, where did you get those?

Those look good. Some of the nicer running boards I have seen.

How are the HD2s holding up? I’m considering these or RB20s

I have the same ones, I like the fact you can adjust how far they stick out. They hug the body, my Ebay ones I replaced sat lower than the RC ones. I wanted a wide heavy duty one for my kids. I put 2" wheel spacers on and had the steps line up with them

I just went through the ten pages of the running boards pics and didn’t see a single one of these! Which was very surprising. I am between these and the Tyger Risers. I like how closely these hug the truck leaving no gap. They holding up well if you still have them?

I had a pair of these on my Silverado. Great steps, hug the truck nicely to prevent the old man tube step look. As with all aftermarket steel, I coated them with Rust-Oleum clear.

We still love them. The powder coating is starting to get thin in spots but its been over 3 years of abuse
