Moving soon to Oregon, North and West of Portland.
No immediate need, just curious if anyone has firsthand knowledge. These 3 are closest.

Best dealership I've ever been to from professionalism, friendliness and cleanliness is Ron Tonkin in Gresham, where I bought my Tundra. One of the worst I've ever visited, including corner lots was a Toyota/Scion dealership around 200th street, can't remember the name or location. Not of the three listed but If I ever need to purchase another Toyota, the Ron Tonkin in Gresham will probably the first place I check out.

    Good to know.
First, it’s a Toyota so not much is expected to fail.
Second, I can and will do most small stuff myself: maintenance, u-joints, brakes, etc.
Third, I might have a descent local mechanic.
But, it’s a complicated, complex assembly of computer controlled equipment that could get over my head in a heartbeat so I want to be prepared.

I’m optimistic that this will be the last vehicle i will buy, unless I need a 3/4t for hauling crap.
At 62 , if this truck lasts me 20 years, I probably will be dead or shouldn’t be driving, lol.

I had Beaverton price out Highlanders, they were very competitive price wise, and seemed very professional. I live in Southern Oregon so I was emailing them back and forth.

I close on the place in Vernonia July 12 & escrow is scheduled to close on the place I’m selling here in AZ, July 9th.
I’m totally psyched about getting there
Did you see this shot of my grandson with a monster chanterelle

The Pacific Northwest is a great place to live. You got everything from Desert, to mountains, to rainforest. Hope the move and everything goes smoothly for you.

Do yourself a favor and shop your Tundra. I ended up getting mine from Toyota of Portland. Not only did they match anybody’s price they added protective seals on all edging of the vehicle, offer the security package, and install the pulse system in your break lights. This is all complimentary. Beaverton Toyota offers their clear pricing and will not budge on the price. I know I tried. I don’t care about customer service because in the end I have to pay for this vehicle and if I can save a couple thousand dollars and get some free stuff then I am all for it.

I’m not looking for a tundra, I’ve got one and don’t plan to let it go.
I was looking for a good dealership with a reliable service department that could be trusted
