Excellent choice on the 4Runner, they are great trucks.

I let my wife drive my truck a few times. It all depends on where she’s going. If it’s just to drop the kid off, go for it! She looks cute in it. If she’s wanting to take it shopping that’s a big old NOPE! She doesn’t even bother to ask anymore, she knows how I am about it. I did let her drive on the trail before with me in the passenger seat.

We have both and neither of us is disappointed driving either. They’re different but both excellent (this is our third 4R).

    Getting there
Hans, Sorry to see you go. Enjoy the 4Runner!

My wife and I are sharing my truck this week while her brother puts a timing chain on her car. It's been agony having to move the seat and mirrors back after she drives it!

Anytime you get a chip like that either get the kit at the auto parts store or have someone come and repair it. I got a rock chip with a small crack right after I bought my truck. I had a guy come out and grind the spot out, then fill it. It’s been holding up great.

His post proves that he can, even though the blame is almost certainly unfounded. :D

I too can vouch for this site as I am a member there as well and have learned a ton about my 4runner when I need info. Great forum!

I'm also a member of the above t4r.org forum. I traded in my 2014 limited for the Tundra. The limited has all of the things mentioned in a few posts above and also heated / vented seats. The JBL system is MUCH stronger than what's in my 2018 Tundra Limited with JBL, not sure why Toyota would go backwards on a vehicle 4 years newer.

I ripped out my Xreas system and dropped in a Toytec Ultimate 3" lift, it did make the ride stiffer but it looked good :)
